Anyway, I'm glad the ending is near although I would've preferred a smart, cunning, and formidable villain in stories to the point I'd get nightmares in my sleep. If this was how easily this old fart gets killed, then how come they never did so earlier in the story? If he's eliminated, will the economy decline? Will secrets about vampires be revealed? Will there'd be scarcity of blood which thereby affect the vampires? Was he backed by much more powerful entity to the point of being untouchable? Because at the end of the day, he's only human and they're powerful vampires, the reason for NOT killing him wasn't compelling enough. And if there was, I had expected Tristan to prepare countermeasures to prevent this during his 2years in hiding since he was in the organization in ten years, he knew the people, their base, their fighting techniques (and prolly his uncle's secrets). He could've done research on his own. The plot was there but it was so focused on romance and smut that the potential dwindled. Oh, well that was only my useless opinion but I still enjoyed it.
Me waiting for a cocky someone to challenge jiwoo to supposedly put him in his place (since he wasn't introduced properly). Then that cocky someone would be beaten black white and blue. Then the two cats and the chubby puppy will transform into humans with their smug smile bragging about their dearest apprentice.
