I don't know if the mangaka was trying to be smart or different or whatever, but i honestly don't get it! I mean, why would you refuse the guy you have had a crush on for 3 freaking years??!! Sorry to those who like the seme, but i could think of him as nothing but a coward. Just because he "thinks" it won't work out in the future he doesn't give it a shot at all? You never know something for sure until you have tried.
i agree he's a coward... But i kinda get it. a line from a song goes : "who said that it's better to have love and lost? I wish that i have never loved." When you want something, sometimes it's easier to just want it. You're scared to make a move because you cant go back. Sure you never know what will happen and for that you should have hope. But really for that you should be scared too. i guess for him it's easier to not start so there's not much to miss. A love that didnt start is different from a love that ended. And really, it's easier if nothing started compared to the heartbreak when it ends. at least with the former there's hope. There's a thought that if you actually try you can be together...
What's more mind boggling is that the uke seems to like the seme too....He's just waiting for the seme to tell him clearly all his feelings...But seme dosen't say anything and neither lets the uke say anything （￣へ￣）If he loves the uke then why dosent he wanna be together with him

Yes. Saffron dies. But he reincarnates as the little boy, giving Kai peace & hope for the future. Kai on the other hand, till death loves the previous Saffron & is buried along side with him at the end. And if the fact, "golden & silver stone are meant for each other" is true, then the reincarnated Saffron with the golden stone will definitely meet his own "Kai" with silver stone some day. Such a beautiful, sad yet hopeful ending!! I have nothing but respect for this mangaka. It's easy to write a tragedy, but not so easy to make it sweet at the time.

ughh....so many no name mangas get picked up/worked on by multiple groups. Then why hasn't this one, even though it's this popular?? And I don't mean any disrespect to scan groups by this. I really appreciate the scan group working on it right now but each group has it's own pace. I just wish this awesome manga get's noticed by more groups.
I have re-read this manga so many times already! I love it!! And the only(the same) complaint I have against it after reading it every time, is that this should have been a HOT DRIPPING YAOI!! >_<
