Although i dont really mind when manhwa adaptations dont stay true to the novel, here, i dont really like how theyve portrayed edith the past few chapters (ragged beaten, i was literally looking for her bruises and scars the past few updates) but lets see how this goes, aside from cliff looking like he's abt to get what he deserves, ion see this manhwa ending better than the novel

Yeah this is so unrealistic. Duke and Duchess only realised the trashiness of Lice when she got married to the dumbass simp and destroyed their standing in society and generational wealth. And duchess was supposed to be unconscious throughout the trail
i feel like theyre tying up some loose ends but at the cost of changing character portrayal and dynamics ... not entirely in a good way

what ppl dong understand is that this actually has 29 chapters in jpn so it feels incomplete and some matters not addressed. read the translators note around ch1-3, they explained it there ╥﹏╥
