The line between shyness and anxiety, the disorder in particular, is indeed pretty vague. What you simply need to know is that everyone has a level of anxiety and that's normal. On the other hand, shyness isn't going to stop you from having to do whatever it is you need to while an anxiety disorder (way higher levels of anxiety) can literally hinde......
I'm not entirely sure if you're talking about an anxiety disorder or if you're talking about anxiety as in something you get sometimes in certain situations...but to me this sounds completely normal? I've had social anxiety since I was thirteen, so this is more or less just my opinion. It doesn't sound much like what I would associate with anxiety......
I've read a lot of messed up stuff as well (when I was younger and didn't have as good a sense of moral boundaries and my own triggers) that made me feel incredibly guilty. But remember that while you may have enjoyed reading that stuff in the moment (which is understandable - even unethical content can be written well), you clearly felt guilty aft......
