The emperor was never in love with Rashta and he only took her in so she can carry his child.
As it turns out when Sovieshu and Navier were little they ate cookies that were supposed to make them infertile and because Navier ate more he suspects that she's the one who's infertile (they've tried for a baby but she couldn't get pregnant) so he finds himself a concubine and when Rashta gets pregnant he is certain he was right (this one I don't know for sure but there's a high possibility that the child Rashta is having isn't his) but because Rashta is just a concubine her child can't be a heir to the throne so he asks Navier to adopt it.
She obviously refuses so he makes this plan where he divorces Navier makes Rashta the empress and then waits a year or smth (till the child can become a legitimate heir) divorces Rashta and marries Navier again (that's why he doesn't want her flirting with other men).
In conclusion the emperor is a piece of shit and deserves to die ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

I don't think it was an act tbh, but I don't think he was genuinely in love with Rashta either. It seems that he's more in love with the idea of being in love. He never intentionally sought out a lover, her just happened to find her when he went out hunting. Rashta was beautiful and pitiful, and quite frankly she was all over him. This boosted his ego and she acted the way he wished Navier did towards him, so he saw his opportunity and took it. It was after this that he started to piece together that dumbass plan of his...it was later revealed that he was in love with Navier, but too little too late for him I guess lmao.

Not to mention that Doujin wasn't very helpful in this situation with his "It WoUlD bE lIkE tHaT sOmEtImEs"
Some of you act like saints that would never scream, cry, get angry or show any kind of dissatisfaction in any kind of situation if you had a house and husband like Hyesung has but fail to see that having a nice house and a nice partner doesn't mean that suddenly all of your emotions, problems and insecurities magically disappear.
Well I guess the best outcome in this situation would be if Hyesung relaxed a little bit and got some therapy (and maybe for Doujin to stop sugar coating everything).
Okay so after watching the anime and reading the manga to this point I must say I never hated a character more than I hate Sugawara Niina. She is a bitch and no "love is love what else is she supposed to do?" isn't a justification for someone who's actively trying to steal their friend's boyfriend.
Obviously Izumi is at fault too like you are in a relationship with a girl you supposedly love and still you say things like "MY GF DOESN'T AROUSE ME HER FRIEND DOES" and let Niina think that she is allowed to do the things she does instead of stating clearly that you have no desire to be with her and to leave you alone.
Ehhh...well maybe the manga will go a different route and actually have those two face some kind of consequence for all this shit (maybe Kazusa cutting them off and finding someone who truly cares about her) but for now I doubt it.
I feel kind of strange watching in every chapter this toddler call grown ass adults out. It would make more sense if she was older because I just can't take it seriously when a little child starts talking like she knows everything and is about to end this person's whole career with this smug look on her face and I'd like to add it seems that no matter how intelligent Calliope is she really has hard time keeping quiet in situations where her safety requires it like she comes up to this person that she knows killed someone and cleary has anger issues and starts calling them out, how many times would she be beaten up if not for her family, love interest or side characters that like her stepping in last minute to protect her ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

I don't understand people who say that Chanwoo "deserved it" or "bough it up on himself" like what just because he rejected a guy he agreed with to have a purely dom/sub relationship and tried to date someone who's his type (even tho I agree he is awful at choosing normal people to date and a dumbass) it was acceptable to be slaped across a face by the same guy he rejected (who knew he was beaten up before) and brought into this whole fucked up situation. From what I know at first this webtoon was fanmade and the author stated in one of the first posts about it that mc is based of her looks. I wasn't so sure about it being true because I don't know korean so I can't translate it but then more and more people started saying that it is true, that mc is based of her and they must have gotten that information form somewhere.
Also like I stated I don't mind how the mc looks and I haven't said anything about wanting her to look like the default one.
