Some of you guys are taking this shit to personal and serious. At the end of the day this is fiction. Yes maybe this stuff happens in the reality but half the stuff in these mangas are heavily exaggerated. Not everyone's opinion will be same and some won't be so come correct because I dont do bullshit .
I'm still team heejae call it waht you want but he basically has been following bad advice since he was a child. You can't really blame him for how he turned out I think Jisuh came at the perfect time. To be honest I think the one who can actually be manipulative is Sun yool they really haven't shown us his hand yet. Remember this webtoons is from an Lezhin author mmost webtoons that come from that site are twisted. Team Heejae all the way ! ! ! !
I think people are annoyed because they are just so over that narrative. Poor boy doesn't know how to be a good person/process his emotions/be emotionally vulnerable because tragic back story so he grows up to be an asshole and then its his romantic partners job to heal him and undo all his emotional problems. Women escape to this genre to not have to see this kind of thing since romance stories featuring us are constantly sending this kind of message that we need to save these types of men and be good and gentle with them and teach them to be good even though they hurt people, so when this genre just does the same thing we get annoyed. We want loving boys like Sunyool and we want the message that girls DO like boys that treat people right/with respect. Men create this narrative where we only like bad boys/men we have to fix but then THEY are the ones usually writing these stories where a asshole man meets the right woman who takes his shit and meanwhile teaches him how to love so that its so pervasive that little girls let boys treat them like shit. I mean, I don't think we should not be kind and try to help people that are hurting, like Heejae, but we are sick of the message that we NEED to do it and that these people are entitled to our help and emotions/ deserve to be taken care of. If a person wants to give somebody a second chance then they should, its a good opportunity for both involved to learn about patience, kindness, and love, but its also not something anyone HAS to do or should feel obligated to do. Nobody deserves your time, your handwork, or your emotions, but finding it in your heart to be there for other people is a good thing.
I don't think it was a bad advice, maybe due to the culture I guess? I'm not sure about Korea but being also an Asian, I know that fitting in society is a great deal. The sister was trying to teach Heejae when he should and shouldnt do certain thing and reveal his weakness or secret. That was basically the first lesson you would get in business or negotiation matter. This becomes even more necessary for Heejae as he is an actor. I actually appreciate his sister for teaching him this since young age. If his parent found out early the worst casewould have been them throwing him into a mental institution or trying to cure him.
After this chapter I'm pretty sure Heejae loves Jisuh though. His reasoning is falling apart as he reveals the secret.
Love doesn't make up for doing horrible things. He literally sent Jisuh's abusive ex after him to try to drive him into a corner. He knew how wrong that was, he's a sane person. He just didn't care about Jisuh's feelings or freedom. Love doesn't mean you want to be kind to somebody or make them happy. You can love somebody and still abuse them. So...even if he does really have feelings for Jisuh, it doesn't change any of what he has done or may do in the future. The only thing that would change those things are sincere acknowledgments or his actions, apologies, and changing to be a better person. But even then, he doesn't deserve anything, like forgiveness, just because he loves the other person now.
That is a little harsh to be honest he is in the wrong for what he did. And forgiveness isn't for the person but for one self. You forgive but never forget what he did just so he can be prepared for whatever may come. Love is funny that way unless you have experienced love than you only say that for an observant view point.
He sent Jisuh's abuser, somebody who physically and emotionally abused him, after Jisuh to make Jisuh feel horrible and bring up his trauma to try to get Jisuh to have sex with him and cling to him. I....don't understand how this fact alone is not enough to make people stop saying such ignorant stuff. Would you feel fine letting a guy like Heejae abuse your best friend after your best friend got out of their abusive situation and is still trying to deal with depression and anxiety just because he says he likes them? This is...just ridiculous. I am not being harsh. He is predatory. Trying to excuse his actions is just insane. You don't have to forgive people for doing evil things to you. Most people don't forgive their abusers or assaulters and they go on to live happy content lives. You're saying some very ignorant and dangerous stuff.
I'm getting very tired of this manga -__-
I'm a Kamio fan so I think that he wont ever have the chance of being with Kou. Well for one I thought this manga was going to be about a poly relationship that works. But it's not I have a strong feeling that kou is going to pick Touya and I'm going to be very disappointed. And I feel like the conclusion to this manga is being drawn out.
For me it's loosing it's excitement and I'm a kamio fan as I stated before and the author is diminishing in my opinion Kamio's character. I would like to see more of him instead of TouyaxKou. Idk maybe I ship KamioxKou so much that those are the only scenes that make me happy. If that makes any sense at all.
My favorite character is Kou and I don't have a particular main pairing so I'm rather objective about this, I think either it's gonna be a poly thing... or, more likely, none of them will have Kou. Idk it's just a feeling. Although I hope I'm wrong...
I think it's an example of a refreshing manga that the uke won't be put with a seme rapist for ONCE. I guess the usual is exciting for many people however although I will never be able to understand that reasoning.
His character is actually pretty much like how he appeared originally? Except he's becoming less clichéd, it just happened too late for him and Kou. T.
Sunyool might end up with Jisuh I only feel that way because the creator like the pairing of those two. I fee like Heejae and Jisuh would have an interesting relationship. I feel like there are a lot of manga are going for the fluffy type relationships. Idk I wouldn't probably enjoy the manga if it was SunyoolxJisuh. To be honest I though this was poly relationship yaoi that is what drew me to this. If that element is eliminated I'll probably stop reading it.
Jisuh ending up with Haejee(?) Is pretty likely, Jisuh ending up with Sun yool is a bit more interesting and unpredictable...but Jisuh ending up with them both in some sort of open relationship that somehow works would be the ideal outcome in everyones mind I think! I hope the author chooses the more unpredictable path, I mean Jisuh surprised the hell out of me going along with the threesome, more of that would be nice.
Im getting sick of these and i want to stop reading this manhwa. But I hate leaving things unread.
