i think the dark haired boy's mom had a guy that did drugs??? (i remember there was a fight about it) anyway his mom wasnt that nice either too, maybe abusive?? i dont remember
but i think they split up and met eachother again in hs when the blonde joined the other's class

Some good male lead fantasy manga recomendations? And if possible without romance please (｀・ω・´) but I guess if I would come to like it it's fine uwu. I already read solo leveling, berserk of gluttony, I am the sorcerer king, ranker who lives a second time, eleceed, last human and the legendary moonlight sculptor.

Have you read Sugiura Shiho's works ? It's shounen ai, love between the (male) characters is suggested, but it's always in the background, the story never deals with it properly and stays focus on the journey.

I love this genre too! So I went digging bag my list a bit, i'm not sure these fits your taste since it is more mellow than the one you listed but the fit most of the requirements:
To aru no Ossan VRMMO
Tensei shitara slime (there is a heroin but does not affect the story, you will found out when you read it)
The Red Storm (have romance but is not forced and advance normally last time I check, I haven't catch up to it yet though...)
Kumo desu ga, (this one is female lead but it is as awesome as the male lead ones, and no romance, full action)
Tondemo Skill de Isekai (food focus isekai ╮(￣▽￣)╭)
Hard core leveling warrior (well this one is....tricky. It gets better only when you read more than 150+ chapters and mc personality is quite hard to handle, but it did fulfill all the requirements so...)
That's all I can dig at the moment since I just come back to reading manga/manhwa not too long ago.
Thanks for the list you provide (I haven't read some of the yet and such mangas are so hard to find these days in a sea of....bad ones).

Have you try The Gamer? I have read like 50 chapters and it was good, but I don't know if romance is bad after that. Or maybe unOrdinary. Male lead becomes crazy in the second half but it's good.
