Well, many blondes look pretty similar to each other although they're not related It actually contributes to the plot in early chapters and at least to me, I like the contrast of their similar looks and clashing values and backgrounds. It highlights their differences in another way, also I somehow feel like women's appearance becomes linked to how people perceive her personality, or how one hair colour is better than the other. Here we can't because they look so similar. In addition, I can see how their similar looks can motivate Mielle's hate even more, with fear of being compared or mixed up with someone she perceives as inferior.

Indeed there is a depiction of rape, but we have yet to see the main character actually be raped. He's strong and independent. And there are super fluffy parts, ecpesially after they start dating. But it definitely doesn't reach cherry blossom fluffiness

Ok I'm on chapter 42 and honestly I'm very conflicted and somehow scared. This is giving Death note's ptsd dude. like I know I should not sympathize with a killer aka mo and the mc as well. However, I feel like at the end there is no way they're just gonna live happily ever after, right? Plus Mo seems very eager to get rid of Kirin the moment Kirin makes the wrong move so I feel guilty even thinking that I want them to end up together. But like I don't want them to go prison or die either and they kinda suit each other in I'm being honest ugggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
