The female lead is a bit stupid. Of course, raising children is super hard. Everything you do can affect their mindset, personality and future. But keeping a child locked up for YEARS without a proper explanation, will make you seem evil. If she had a better reason, he would still want to become a swordsman. What’s so wrong about protecting yourself? If he can’t protect himself, then he will feel weak. She can’t always protect him, which was shown multiple times during his younger years.
1. It’s painfully obvious it was her who spent the night with the emperor. Her eye color, form, height, nervousness, defensiveness is odd.
2. Why doesn’t she have a plan? She could’ve hid the pregnancy if she wasn’t so paranoid all the time.
Agreed, and with the shadow people and the dreams, I'm 90% sure the emperor already knows it was her. But she should have made a better overall plan if she wanted to hide it from him, unfortunately as a guard of his highness, I doubt she could have quit easily without a background check on why (aka if she might be a spy or something) plus where else would she go? She slightly mentioned that in the beginning. My guess is that she was going to wait until it started to become visible before going into hiding, that was she can save up money. People have talked about the kids and their personalities, so I assume there is going to be a time skip, and knowing these types of books, that time skip is probably going to be after she runs away to before she meets ML again.
What happened in the end? I didn’t understand why the ant man suddenly showed up. Why was the main character suddenly sad again? What happened to that girl and the other boy he hanged out with?

Basically what you saw when the dad said we have a lot of things to talk about and onwards is all just his imagination and in reality the dude transferred out and MC and the girl kinda drifted apart. And his dad just became more disappointed at MC cuz he left the house and didn’t even get a perfect score at school. Basically it’s a tragic ending,
I forgot to say this but
