So i think some ppl just call him “green flag” bc he fell in love with yoshino for his personality instead of looks, like he was watching yoshino helping ppl and then becomes inspired to also help ppl like that (bc of course yoshino is an angel who makes the world a better place) so i agree that it is very bare minimum.
I don’t think he is a redflag because this is nothing compared to other redflag semes, but he is probably orangeflag because of the repeated insensitiveness. he thought yoshino would be fine bc he already explained it to him and yoshino didn’t say no. yoshino is super nice ofc he couldn’t say no. I think he cares about yoshino but he is just immature…in vol 1 he actually couldn’t guess what yoshino was feeling at all. He was like “i don’t understand why yoshino doesn’t just confess to me” when obviously yoshino was already feeling unwanted. At least the characterization is consistent? I feel a little sorry for yoshino bc he has to date such an immature kid. If there is a third vol or if there is a side story for hibiya and sui i really hope the author makes rou’s character grow up already.
Its a shame because they actually make a gorgeous couple like the extra was cute and fluffy i don’t understand why the author has to make up angst instead of just giving us 500 panels of yoshino being beautiful

The novel was so good, so I'm disappointed that, based on the manga raws I've seen, they seem to have gotten rid of a plot point I found pretty important. They toned down other stuff, too.
MC is supposed to get his arm blown off in the final battle, but looks like that either doesn't happen or they regrow/reattach it somehow.
Looks like a lot of the raw emotion/dark aspect has been toned down, too. It's less a realistic depiction of getting PTSD from being isekai-ed and forced to fight and more of a romance where the MC's somewhat depressed.
