They went to the same school i guess. Because Esau was never really an orphan. So I think they attended the same school when they were kids.

It was the orphanage, not school. Esau was there for a while after his grandmother pretty much abandoned him. You can even see one panel where there's a sign on the building, saying it's the orphanage. And Hosoo giving some tips to Esau later about it because he's a newcomer.
does anyone know why this story and its prequel got deleted by the author on tapas? i had this on wait for free to unlock the chapters there but it's gone now before i even got the chance to start reading it :(
i agree with the others below. it would be much better if he is able to go back and forth between worlds since he has lives to live on both sides. caius should go to the titan that assisted him in summoning kouichi and discuss this or smtg. i believe caius will at least find a way to compromise (is that right?) if kouichi decides to go back
