How is he an asshole? Yes he didn’t care about her problems when they first met because not only did they not know each other like that, he didn’t even like her. Realistically, a young woman to stop menstruating is very worrying. Hugo is concerned for her health. He doesn’t care if she can get kids or not because HE CANT EVEN IMPREGNATE HER. If you don’t know, it’s something about his bloodline. I do think he should have talked about it first before taking her to the doctors. The doctor is not messed up for thinking she’s sick because it’s not common and usually not good, when someone stops menstruating all of a sudden. She could be poisoned. The “she knows her own body” argument would be flawed here because she’s a health patient that isn’t educated about the body as good as the doctor. The doctor might find bad symptoms that she would ignore because she thinks nothing of it. And also they don’t know she can cure herself. If they did, they wouldn’t even call the doctors she just ask her to restore it herself.
