Cousin incest is okk like not the worst but was it really necessary to the plot? Couldn't they just be childhood friends? Would have made more sense to me. Also obviously the homeroom teacher thing is not ok.

I shipped it. At least he seemed to really love her not like breathing trash who just feels guilt or something. If he really loved her he would never have sent her to the torture hall like he did. Or that brown hair soldier dude could also be a very good match. But the emperor doesn't deserve to be happy with her after what he did.
