i feel like some of you are missing the whole point. as outsiders we can't decide whether or not the people in the relationship are happy or if it's good for them or not because we are not IN the relationship. everyone around haru is constantly telling him he shouldn't let meiji tie him down, hold him back, whatever, disregarding the fact that haru likes meiji and likes the aspects of him others think are flaws. they think they know what's best. but at the end haru solidifies he is in the relationship because he WANTS to be. and yet everyone walks away from this story still thinking "oh its so toxic, meiji is trapping haru and tying him down" you do realize for a relationship to be toxic it has to negatively impact those in the relationship right?
