He can't... In ch1, Dayeru kept asking Chan what Sharlan was talking about when they were discussing strategies. Hhmm since they were mercenaries, i guess it was possible that Kang Chan's team was made up of different nationalities and it was up to captain Chan to keep them in check like translating and stuff
But there is a part were is mentioned that Dayeru and Smithen used to talk before, and Smithen is American so he most likely speaks English, why are they not speaking in english instead?
