It is in relation. If your entire race died, your family members included you bear a burden of their lost lives and a responsibility to bear justice for them. And it wouldnt even be a fight. Crispin's side are trying to avenge their side. Saying both sides did stupid decision making would just be being unable to read what's happening, because Crispin's brother did that as revenge. And while arguebly speaking what Hills brother and father did was wrong they did it in the name of seeing what's right for their ideals—in their view it wasn't and from an outside point of view the decision makes sense, he doesn't want enemy blood in their veins. On the other hand, as we've established, Crispin bears alot of responsibility in starting a revolution in the name of avenging his dead people and family. That's something he can't just leave behind, that would make him stupid and even more so if he ran away with an enemy.

I stand in my point when i asked if you read anything. Saying Crispin's brother deserves to die for not giving a shit about hill and his unborn child is frankly just stupid. Like, think of it from his point of view.

His entire race was killed. That's countless numbers of people. Children, new born, and pregnant people included. Compare that to Hill and he's only two lives put together. In contrast to the thousands of his people killed, it wouldn't be fair if they spared Hill's life and while Hill is sort of innocent, he's still the kid of the person who's responsible for killing their entire race. That would make hill's life matter even less.

You can stop explaining now. We ALL read the same exact story. I think you just don’t understand that people can have different opinions. Despite knowing everything, people WILL not care and still root for the mc’s well-being. That’s fine. You will keep trying to explain the entire plot in order to get people to change their opinion.

Here is maybe an explanation in which you may understand better: the OG commenter NEVER said to stop and just give up on revenge. They said for the OLDER BROTHERS to stop pushing others to do what they want. All of them can clearly see that both the ML and MC are hesitant in fighting, which would not be beneficial to the older brothers whatsoever. That hesitation could get people hurt, hence why it’s better to just leave them alone to do what they want and the older brothers should do whatever they want on their own.

WE ALL KNOW the reasoning, you don’t need to copy and paste the same thing. We get that the older brother is acting out of emotion and not thinking logically. We understand that, but we can still call out bad decisions/behavior when we see it. Realistically can the eye patch dude say that all his people are good? Even before the war, there will obviously be a mixture of good and bad no matter what. So how can he be so sure that another country’s people is entirely bad? He doesn’t know and assumes that’s the case due to wanting to justify his need for revenge. It would make him feel better if someone was bad than if they were innocent. So he just imagines everyone to be a terrible person in order to not have any guilt. He is not much different from the other blonde brother, in assuming that everyone of their race is an enemy. You’re not seeing the bigger picture in that, even if his reasoning makes sense, it doesn’t make it any better.

There's a difference in having an opinion on a story and having an opinion on the basis that you don't understand it. What the original commentor said just highlights that they didn't understand the story because that's not how the story works! While it could've been a lighthearted comment, saying both sides fighting is stupid, when it's not, is just proof.

Also, They literally said to runaway, that is, in fact, giving up on revenge. Bcs wtf else would running away be? If you understood what you were reading you would understand the MC isn't hesitant on fighting, he's against the idea of using the omega as a bargaining chip. Look, everyone in this story set aside for maybe hill, think of eachother as wasps that need to die, even Crispin himself talks about Hill's bloodline like they're scum If he was hesitant, he wouldn't have escaped and made plans with his brother otherwise! He would have already gotten too much of an earful,. The only one who is hesitant, is hill bcs what he wanted from day one is to get a semblance of freedom.

Good or bad their people were, alot of them are dead, they were on the losing side, and even then their prejudice is illogical in the broad perspective but it's acceptable, therefore it's logical. It's setting typical behavior—it's not even unreasonable or bad because all Crispin's brother did was talk. He hasn't harmed Hill in any way just spoke his opinion about the how he's being unreasonable. Crispin's brother if argue, is very different. He's had to sacrifice his eye, hell, even his dignity just look at his relationship with their ally, and Hill is very vulnerable right now, if he was anything like Hill's brother, Hill would be dead. Hill's brother didn't sacrifice anything, whereas Crispin's brother did. They're not the same

Alright, I see you’re exactly like the people you’re replying to and disagreeing with. You keep treating people as if they’re stupid and saying “they don’t understand it” to go on with your copy paste comments, when people have told you several times THEY DO KNOW WHATS GOING ON. They just do not give a shot about the brother’s reasons. It’s that’s simple! It’s great for you that you like listening to their reasoning but that will NOT change their opinion. The only reason why I said the ML is hesitant in getting revenge is because he made an exception which is the mc. If he was not hesitant, then he would be going all out not giving a shit who it is. His hesistation when it comes to mc, give him a weakness in his revenge plan. Which makes more sense for the eye patch brother to handle it instead while ml can go and choose to be with mc and find a different alternative.

And YOU got the wrong idea of what the OG commenter said. They said the OLDER BROTHERS make stupid decisions. They never said that the fighting is stupid. Both brothers only think about what they want to do and not consider anyone else’s opinion. The eye patch brother is stupid because on his path to revenge, it’s an obvious fact that the more war is fought, both sides LOSE people. So you’re making more of your people sacrifice their lives in order to get your revenge. The smarter option, if he actually gives a shit about his people’s well-being, is to go into hiding and leave so no more lives are threatened by him wanting to dive head first into the enemy territory. Both brothers are alike in that both think the other is bad, both are prejudiced, both are selfish.

Either way buddy, just accept it and stop trying to explain the plot. This was never about what they understood about the plot, this was just about how they don’t like characters no matter what.

Also, for clarification it's not just the older brothers who are in the path of revenge, the MC is too, by extension, in your view, he's an idiot aswell. LIKE I SAID, the setting doesn't work that way so you can't uphold your fucking morals to a character who's supposed to have complexity, because it's in the setting of the story. and even then how is vengeance a stupid choice? And back to the revenge plot, there are people who want revenge, they would call the brother a coward if he doesn't do shit, and even if he didn't do anything they would start a revolution of their own, as referenced by real life occurrences because that's what happens. Moreover, there are still omegas held hostage and are treated as sex slaves by Hill's nation, that's a big reason for revenge. And If you disregard all that, and still call his mindset stupid, then maybe you shouldn't read shit where you don't like a characters morals? Keep reading the typical 'everyone is good plot.' and stop trying to argue with me bcs we clearly know who understands the story and who doesn't.
