Can I just say how much I love Regan as a character? His character development at the moment is exactly what I'm looking for in a character like him. Really glad that it's nicely paced, that despite the fact that he's slowly developing "feelings" towards Ingrid, that it doesn't mean his trashy personality magically disappear overnight and he immediately starts being the "perfect husband uwu". He still remains distrustful towards everyone (even Ingrid atm), he still considers alcohol and drugs as a good way to deal with problems (immediately resorts to it whenever he feels stressed) but you can see him slowly opening up, just a teeenssyyyyy tiny bit, you can see that a chance for change is there, that he IS capable of it, especially with the help of Ingrid next to him. That beneath all that anger and distrust, he's capable for once to do something for others, to finally believe that even if he starts to give a little bit of himself to somebody, that he won't immediately have it thrown right back at him, cause there's someone like Ingrid, somebody who'd continue on giving to him, who seemingly believes in him even when he tries his damnest to make sure she doesn't, but still, an unwarranted as it may be, she gives anyway. And as much as Regan wants to believe that it's not affecting him, that Ingrid's kindness and trust doesn't matter at all to him, we can see that it does. He might feel uncomfortable, he might be confused, but it's exactly what he needs to finally see the worth in NOT being such a jackass all the time, ya know lol. (And I'm not saying that he NEEDS to be the nicest dude around, part of what makes him an interesting character is the fact that he's a jerk, but he defs needs improvement on some aspect of himself lol) I can't help but root for my boi, I know he's a jackass but he's MY jackass, you get what I mean?? If his character development remains as nicely paced as it is rn, I will give mad props to the writer for managing it (aka write a character with trash personality into romance) where so many others had failed.
Also, on Ingrid herself, honestly my gurl has managed to worm her way into my heart too. At first I thought she fr gon be some hella bad bizz and I doubted her actions a lot of time, but now it's pretty obvious that she's just a nice gurl tryna get through life, ya know?? She's just making the best of the situation she's been thrown in. Though I find it funny that that's exactly the same way Regan viewed her at first too (even at present time) That just as Regan doubted her, we were also doubting all the shit she did too, effectively managing to make us feel the way he did, letting us understand why exactly he's acting the way he is towards Ingrid.(though to be fair, his actions might be a bit much just for an unfounded suspicion, but we can't all be jackass with trust issues can we? But also, I guess she DID kindaaa manipulate Regan into marrying her at the start, so she's not totally blameless but she was just trying to run away from being forced to marry a disgusting old coot, so I'll let it slide for my gal)
In any case, really hope the pace of the story remains like this. Cause ngl, when Regan had that small little smile on his face when Ingrid invited him to sleep together, and then with the cute hug while she's sleeping and soft smile too, aishhhh, genuinely got me squealing, just felt so appropriate ya know?? Such a nice buildup to it, and it didn't feel like it was out of place for Regan to do that either (at that time anw) It probably wouldn't have brought out that same reaction out of me had we rushed to that moment instead of slowly getting to it. Just uptop!

Remember, my comment is just my opinion, and other's criticism is still valid. This is just how I see it as, and it's totally fine if you disagree, just saying :)

Alright, alright, I know this dj is cute and all, with this time around having Yuri and Victor who feels way more in character + the art is pretty nice, but was it just me who was genuinely dying of laughter while reading this dj?? At first, it was just some little things that got some chuckles out of me. Yuri saying "better rub this one real quick" (can't quite imagine Yuri talking like this XD) and then the thought of Yuri actually doing whole sessions of skate training with a BUTTPLUG IN HIS ASS really was quite funny. But the part that made me lose it was definitely the scene where the buttplug started vibrating (how'd it suddenly start vibrating anyway without any input?) and Victor motherfucking Nikiforov, consecutive champion of the skating championship, practically a living legend, after seeing sudden discomfort on Yuri's face, thought it was a legitimately good idea to just STRAIGHT UP pull down Yuri's whole pants without any prompting only to then see a buttplug dramatically fall out, his only reaction being "that’s dangerous, don’t do that!" as if THAT was the only thing weird about this whole situation. I honestly can not see the logic in this. Nay, I refuse. Seriously, I need to know what Victor's thought process was that he would seriously think pulling down Yuri's pants was gonna help him find out what the problem was. What did he think he was gonna see?? Maybe he saw Yuri's leg shake or something but to then respond with the way he did is downright INSANE. (makes for an insanely funny moment too though) And if you thought things couldn't get any whackier than it already is, Yuri's only defense for having a buttplug stuck inside his ass was…."I only wanted to have sex, Viktor." in perfect clarity like it’s the most obvious reason ever, and he actually had the gal to get angry at Victor after that ٩(๑˃ꇴ˂๑) He doesn't even try to explain that he simply didn't have the chance to take it out. So now Victor is probably thinking about how extreme Yuri is that he'd even use the damned buttplug during training just to practice having sex with him. After all, who but a weirdo would actually do that and risk hurting themselves? Ah wait, this is the same Victor who would think pulling down someone's whole pants was a legitimately normal action just minutes prior, so of course he wholeheartedly accepts this reasoning and actually feels a little happy knowing Yuri would do this for him. This scene, with its slightly awkward wording, and coupled with the framing that tries its damnest to try and make this seem serious makes it a point blank perfect headshot. It effectively MUR-DERED me and I was a laughing mess from that moment forward. Even the somewhat sweet scenes that comes after that could not quell the laughing fits I was having. In fact, Victor's "In Russia, when we want to keep our voice in…." sweet talk to Yuri made me laugh EVEN HARDER cause all I could think about was the "In Soviet Russia" joke since I was already a laughing mess at the moment. There was nothing that could stop me by then.
Honestly, I like this dj, but I feel like my reason differs from literally everyone else who read it. Even after rereading my comment, I'm certain nobody would understand why I'd like it for such, frankly, nonsense reasons. And as they say, never explain jokes amiright? But clearly I went way over explaining and is in a whole nother territory now. Just shows it’s the little things in life that makes you laugh. ^^

TL;DR spelling it as Viktor instead of Victor shows that you're blind to the true reality of life.

If I have to say anything, it was actually pretty clever. Throughout the whole chapter, Ha-woon and Wan are almost never in the same frame/panels, meaning they're not on the same mindset. And when they are in the same panel, there's a clear line of divide between them, their eyes are not shown because they're not being honest/clear with each other. (take pg.8 where they're in the same panels, but Wan is sitting in a somewhat fetal position, while Ha-woon stands, their eyes are hidden from each other, unable to stand on the same ground, they're divided) When they're arguing + Ha-woon is lying to himself, each panel is small and short, cutting off sections off their faces, especially their eyes, never seeing the full picture. It feels suffocating to not see everything, just like how they're acting with each other rn. But then, Wan starts saying what he really feels, we're shown Ha-woon's eyes as he starts hearing Wan out, and slowly, we finally see a full panel of Ha-woon's face. Because even if Ha-woon is trying his hardest to lie to Wan, Wan can see what he actually feels like, he sees the full picture of Ha-woon and what he's actually trying to do, protect him. We see a full panel of Wan's crying face, because Wan is being completely honest to Ha-woon, opening himself up and trying to be on the same page as Ha-woon. As Ha-woon touches Wan's face, he slowly enters into Wan's frame(pg.12), and then.... they kiss, a full frame of them together, their eyes both visible to each other, signifying that this is their honest feelings, what they really want, they're finally seeing eye-to-eye at this moment. But even this is not completely right, as Ha-woon is still standing above Wan, he's still the only one holding Wan(protecting him),not allowing for Wan to do the same for him.. And as Ha-woon starts doubting their relationship again, fearing it might hurt Wan, he's by himself again in his own frame, cutting himself off from being in the same frame as Wan. But his eyes are shown because this is also his honest feelings, but he's convinced himself he can't be with Wan. So Wan takes the initiative and kisses Ha-woon, putting them yet again in the same panel, and in the last panel, we're shown them together in a frame, kissing, similar to the one before, but this time, Ha-woon is no longer standing over Wan,and instead puts himself in the same height/ground as Wan. He finally allows Wan to also hold onto him, as he does the same for Wan, they're finally fully honest to each other, and for that, they're able to stay with each other, together at last.

Such an interesting premise. ;) A seemingly normal private detective finds himself meeting again with a victim caused by his past actions who'll do anything to exact revenge on the person who took his finger. The beautiful art by Bad Pharmacy just further amplifies the intrigued I have just from reading the first 2 chapters. It really makes you wonder how these two people will end up developing their relationships in the future. Either way, I'm excited to find out. (≧∀≦) Definitely not a story you usually get in the BL genre.
