I don't know if I'm the one that's dumb but seriously,i don't understand a thing about the story. The only thing i got is that she has a very good memory and for that reason the temporary emperaror wants her to become a public official. But i don't understand the dynamic of what happens in the story. Like, what was all that thing about the secret signals? Why were they so important? How did it help them to find the traitor? What did they find out trough those signs? I don't understand a thing and that's why I think there's people who find the storyline quite boring. It's hard to follow and the plot jumps from one event to the other without deepening the reason or explaining the motive. It's so confusing

While I don't ship her with the Emp I feel that my wish won't come true. Also, the temp Emp is using her and manipulating her for his own ends. He wants signal memorization to be able to send in spies and she has excellent memory so she is probably the best candidate to help him with that.

Their country is unstable because the ML is not the true emperor. He rose to power because he got the support of 1 person, his uncle who at the time is very famous but became a traitor right after the ML became emperor. The uncle ran away and the ML has been looking for him ever since.
Coincidentally, during the time FL is discovered and now doing her school stuff, the ML finds the traitor uncle and thought he can find out why the uncle is a traitor but unfortunately ML was set up by the uncle. ML escaped, both are not in best shape, so the uncle had to think of another way to kill ML or make the ML come out if he didn’t die yet, which he did by helping the enemy countries to plan a meeting with ML’s country.
The plan for the meeting was, if ML didn’t show up because he really died. Then the enemy country can wage war and take over. If the ML did show up, the hand signals the enemy countries made beforehand with the traitor uncle Would tell the position of the ML so the uncle can shoot and kill him. Or the hand signals just are used so the people in the meeting know the right times to switch topics or stay on a topic to antagonize, make the ML mad so either ML or another country wages war because they were offended.

No lol, I wish! But I read a lot of warring kingdoms stories, I am used to things like this, politics, wars, history, it’s a side hobby of mines.
Sometimes you kind of have to make an educated guess on what they give you. The ML was explaining these things to the FL to encourage her not to give up. If you reread, you can get more details you might have missed the first time! And the uncle thing came when the ML went missing, the teacher told the FL.
The FL is used to find the ML not just because she’s the FL but she has true memory, so to look for him faster, she can already memorize the map and memorize the places and clues they’ve already looked so they don’t waste more time finding the ML.
The ML explained that the enemies wanted to wage war already; as an emperor, he always has the best connections and he always has possibilities running in his head to protect his country, he’s also very smart and considered a prodigy since he passed both the hardest exams his country has to give.
Even if the other country didn’t want to wage war, it’s always a possibility for an unstable kingdom, which unfortunately the ML’s kingdom is unstable...that’s why it was crucial FL and the friend was up to par on their acting as fake civil servants to fool the other countries because anything can happen and they were outnumbered because the ML only had a small group, while the uncle traitor helped the enemy set up already.

Wow... I can't believe there's people who still roots for Jihyun and wants him to end up with Chiwoo. I mean, i kinda get why people sympathize with him but guys, expecting Chiwoo to forgive him and BE WITH HIM after all the physical and mental abuse he had to go through during their relationship is too much. How can you think, even for a monent that that's a good thing? All that trauma can't simply go away. They're just not meant to be and it's better this way. I was really moved when at the end Chiwoo said "i don't want you to be happy but i want you to be happy. I want you to find someone who loves you" and i guess i can at least agree with that. He was a bad person and his background shouldn't justify his actions even if to some they may seem excusable but that doesn't mean that he can't change and be better to someone else.In my heart i hope he can move on and be better, just not with Chiwoo
That and especially after they meet again in the side story .. and how jihyun tells chiwoo he’s engaged and he’s sort of doing okay — but it’s obvious he isn’t okay and isn’t over chiwoo. And how chiwoo tells him they can’t hug and they aren’t friends anymore but still sees him off and wishes him well.. I’m so happy chiwoo was able to heal from that trauma and he finally cut jihyun off but man is this a rollercoaster.
God. I can't believe i have to wait basically 1 more year... I just want to have closure! Please just be happy!

Oh just cause on the last page the translator said that this was the last chapter even in Japan, so basically the last volume, at least i assume it'll be the last volume, isn't even published yet.But even when it gets out the translating team will take a while to translate all the chapters, so yeah, I think it'll take at least a year if not morekill me
It doesn't work like that. Chapters come in a monthly magazine called the be boy magazine in Japan. And when 5 chapters are accumulated they turn it into a volume so people don't have to buy all 5 magazines to read a manga just that one book in which extras also come.

I don't think she'll die. I'm quite sure she's immune to it. I mean,remember the scene where her spoon touched his lips and then she used it and nothing happened? Yeah it was just a little touch but trust me,the author wouldn't have put that scene if it didn't mean something. It's probably related to her powers
