I think the person above meant the creator of the setting of this (the Feng Wushuang) arc, not "Cheating Men Must Die." Su Luxia's system/assistant said this about this particular world in chapter 107:
"A world based on an abandoned novel is defective, causing the world to repair itself automatically...This could cause the plot to go haywire and cause the personality setting of the characters to come apart. However, these cases are rare, so esteemed host shouldn't worry about it too much."
The manhua hasn't been dropped. The story in this arc is that the particular novel mc is in, was dropped, hence why good characters are turning bad and the story is running wild on it's own. If that makes sense..
