I came back right in time for the end of an arc, must be my lucky day, I usually restart reading at the worst moment, when there's angst and cliffhangers everywhere

So cute, wholesome, healthy and unproblematic
I really am this close to worshipping this author

I hate the word slut, the fact that some people feel entitled enough to use this word to describe other people, no matter the number and the type of relationship you have, so long as everything is truly based on consent, noone can tell you anything about it, remember that. It's something that's often forgotten, or that pops up in more subtle ways ("what, it's not that you like girls, you just haven't found the right guy yet" "you say that now, but later you'll see, you'll want children, it's sad to see women without children" "I assure you, romantic relationships are the key to happiness, everyone wants to be in a couple" "so, no boyfriend yet? I'll die before I see my grand children at this place!" etc.) Your relationships and desires only concern you, and your eventual partner(s), but noone else (well aside from the toxic ones of course, that's a whole other issue)

Love (or not) who you want to

I don't know why what annoyes y'all the most is the misunderstanding, I mean it is a pain, but the real problem is the fact that the only method the Duke has ever tried to go through any conflict with Jace is rape, and that he doesn't even realize that's not how things work. Honestly I was starting to forget the earlier ones, but I'm this close to dropping this shit. If only Jace would quit and leave the Duke maybe we could see some character development, but you and me both know that won't ever happen, because he is not in any position to do so, because that's not what the story hinted at up till now, and because it almost never happens in manga, and most forceful characters stay that way and get what they want, AND it's, most of the time, portrayed as a positive happy ever after ending. I guess what makes me the most angry is that fact, that the authors don't make their character reflect at all, while show them in a positive light, which completely reduces the abuse to something that is supposed to be normal in a relationship.

Yes to everything you just write, is really frustrating :(

So in short, the authors who come up with this sort of garbage need to see a therapist. Regardless if it is fiction or not because it makes us wonder about their background especially when they make it(r*pe) seems normal.

Clearly. Or at least a masterclass or two on consent.

Showing the one who puts it in cry, it's nice seeing it in here, plus the actual bisexuality acknowledgement, the crappy ex who was still crappy, but didn't go in the extremes like you see in manga (whatever the genre btw) usually (kidnapping, taking a knife out, stalking, raping, verbally and physically abusing, ah, the wonderful world of yaoi), and the "I'm not sure I can be so rough" which is a very very much appreciated change of pace from litterally all of the other yaoi (and het smut as well), etc.

I was just like, woah, that's nice, no disguised homophobia in here, everyone's cute and accepting, it accepts the fact that bisexuality is a thing and that you don't just "turn gay" or stay straight if you used to like girls and you realise you also like boys, blah blah blah, but then what? Although not problematic per se the last "trouple" (well not really but that's the easiest way to describe it) left a bad taste in my mouth, and, worse than that, the very last chapteris about pressuring your lover into having sex with you even though he clearly stated that he wanted to stop there, the conclusion being "happy ending I guess", um, sorry, no, that's rape,, rah I'm so angry, I should have sticked to the first part, the shounen au was sweet (although not perfect either)

Finally a yaoi in which they end the stupid "but you're not gay" sentence always said to men in gay relationships. I mean, stop the denial, sexuality can change over time, he could be bi, he can be gay, it's just like taste, every living being changes, and sexualities are by no means set in stone.
