Uh, no, the whole "he helped other people so forgive him" charade is a big no for me. He is by no means entitled to forgiveness just because he was struggling at the time. I understand how hard it can be to be unable to live how you feel you should live in terms of gender, career, love, but you can't neglect your child because of that. And the whole speech of the mom on how her daughter is the reason why he left her a few chapters earlier makes no sense now, since we know that she knew he couldn't love her. To me they are just an (ex) couple of terrible parents, and it makes me angry that the manga seems to want me to pity them or something.
Again, the daughter grew up hearing she was the reason her parents got separated, and still had to hear it when she came back to help her mom with her pregnancy, wtf.
I love all the little details that show that Hari isn't "normal" (as in, she doesn't always react the way society deems normal), like how she climbs over a corpse to retrieve her shoe in one of the first chapters. They make the story much more unforgettable.
Also the three way wedding dream part? Girl I didn't know threesomes were my thing but now...
I thought I'd read it since I like wagging the tail but it's everything I hate story and character wise. And clearly the art is not enough to keep me onboard.
