No I agree with you and definitely ship them and would be fine with them having happily ever after, but it's set up for her to get back with the ML at some point and if they basically have mutual feelings for each other and nothing really stopping the marriage from proceeding I don't see how you break things off with them unless he dies or somehow Shannon royal fucks things up for them, but I do see how and in a way that would be even sadder as Harmon would get cheated in two timelines

Violet doesnt need to go follow the original route since she knows what happened and now can decide if she rly will stay with Harmon, besides, they both catching feelings already so I think the only one to get in their happily ever after is Violet's blind ass who cant see they mutually feeling tingz and Shannon who's more like the original Violet lmao
Okay take what I'm going to say with a grain of salt, but it's my prediction Harmon dies or something bad happens to him to remove him from the picture
Basically, I'm saying there's no real obstacles to her and Harmon (blue haired guy) getting together. It's not set up to be a chill sugary sweet story so something more is going to happen as things have been building. The story has been setting up to prevent her from getting together with ML (black haired guy), but she's off that path right now so something needs to happen to put her back on it. If she was going to get with Harmon then ML should have stepped aside and let her be. They made it clear though he's going to continue to try (why bother if her and Harmon are getting together) ML not getting together with her unless something bad happens to Harmon to remove him from the picture that or she falls for the ML breaks it of with Harmon who simps like a wimp and if they do that to Harmon I'm done. Also, they are establishing the Prince has a thing for her, but she has to be available for him to get his chance (which I also think the story is moving toward though ultimately he will lose to ML). So the Prince, Shannon (ex violet), Violet herself not wanting to get with ML, and probably another force that got her in her situation are all set up to prevent her from getting with ML. All the drama is that way so the story is going to take a turn into it at some point.
Here's what I think are the most likely possibility's for Harmon. 1) Shannon upset Violet embarrassed her arranges for her to be killed and Harmon either sacrifices or is accidental killed as a result 2) He ends up skimping (please god no) or 3) A new factor is introduced that splits them up such as a war breaking and and him having to leave, his family's status taking a dive preventing him socially or he worries she'll get mixed up and breaks it off pre-emptively to spare her, etc
Sorry just thought of Shannon's motivation to go after Violet. If ML won't give up on her then Shannon can't get with him so she'll need to kill Violet to get him to give up. Then something happens to Harmon is what seems most likely to me
