Oda: I’m winding up One Piece and approaching the final arc
Also Oda 300 chapters after saying that: Time to introduce 217 new characters 30 of them major players, 2 different types of devil fruit powers, a new straw hat crew member, and introduce 3 new major world factions
Me: Oda. I’m by no means complaining, but like are you really sure you understand what wrapping up a story means? I mean I feel like most stories that are wrapping up are starting to kill people off and tie up loose ends, not… ya know… introduce an entire new continent that’ll be central to the story>
Oda: No, no. This is all part of the plan. You’ll see. I even foreshadowed it 700 chapters ago

Just wondering. Is anyone else getting tired of Koga? I feel like he’s mid at best. There are so many more interesting characters and if feels like I’m losing out seeing more of them every time we have to waste 100 chapters on Koga. There’s so much with him that could be abbreviated or cut out entirely. Like just off the top of my head a chapter or four is wasted over him deciding whether to go to the inside or not after Ryuki. The entire series he’s a hot headed risk taker willing to put his life on the line, but now he really has to stop and think? Like what the hell was really added by those chapters?

I’ve got a question. I’m a little confused about Noel the Nun who’s cared for the FL. Can she not talk? Is she like using sign language or just always whispering? Is there something wrong with her voice or is she deaf or something? They imply something is up with her, but either they didn’t explain or I missed it. Anyone know?
Me upon seeing Simo bleeding from the mouth: Oh! He’s firing his teeth!
Me upon learning Simo is using his organs: Dude I would have started with a tooth
