I love how Wolfgang is just head over heels for Shin and super into him, kingdom be damned.
This is why official translations are so important, the fan translation messed up the meaning of the text messages so badly that they didn't translate well at all and I found their conversation confusing, this makes so much more sense and I love the interaction.
I stopped reading this cause the top always makes statements that are super problematic during sex and he's painted as a green flag, I figured I'd drop in and take a look at the latest chapters to see if there's some development there and immediately am met with "I like it when you're in pain because of me" and I'm like "NOPE" this sure hasn't gotten better! And the MC still thinks he's cute when he does his obnoxious manipulative shit. I'm ok with red flag tops as long as they're upfront about it, this bullshit passive-aggressive covertly a manipulative asshole that wants to come off as clingy and cute stuff makes me just want to stab my eyeballs out with sporks, so I'll just take this off my list.
My hot take for the day is that Jin isn't anything remarkable, he just confessed first.
To me this story is about two people falling in love with one another but out of synch. Literally nothing makes Jin worthy of being put on a pedestal, save for the fact he said he liked Hanjoon first. I don't even think Jin fully comprehended what dating a gay man fully entails, because when it came to sex he saw a side of Hanjoon that freaked him out. I am personally glad they didn't go through with it that time because Hanjoon wasn't in love and it would have been another notch on his headboard he'd have moved on from and Jin would have just closed off and been traumatised. Hanjoon has since then had time to reflect and realise that "holy shit, I am actually catching feelings for this man." I enjoy that part of it, I also enjoy the fact they are fucking TALKING in these past two chapters about the situation between them and their feelings and how those feelings are starting to align. I see people complain all the time about couples in manga not communicating properly, but when it actually happens in a story they're like "boring, where's the drama?!"
The hell.
Willing to bet creepy blondie twink wants to rape that ass too. He's definitely fucked in the head and MC going with him is not the best course of action.
Everyone's acting like Jin's honour was besmirched. He got rejected, people. It happens everyday when you swipe left on tinder, super mundane and banal thing. It's not like Hanjoon crushed his soul and threw it in the trash. It wasn't the right time for them, it had to cook, now it be cookin' and I'm waiting to see what is served up. I'm sure it'll be delicious and will involve some buns and a couple sausages.
What's with people using suicide puns when the plot doesn't go according to their personal headcanon? Sick and tasteless.
The more of these chapters that come out the more I like Hanjoon and how he handles negative situations and repercussions. He didn't throw a fit, and seems to understand where Jin's coming from for rejecting his advances now. Also Hanjoon's not being a dick to Jin in the workplace and is encouraging his career to flourish with or without his own involvement, which shows Hanjoon really does admire and respect Jin's work separately from the romantic feelings. This is so good so far I'm having lots of fun reading it!
If you blow on my sister's skin it bruises, some people just bruise super easily especially with pale skin.
Gotta love when your boyfriend basically forces you to cohabit hahaha ha... ha...
