I suspect Gjord is leading a coup d'etat and that Ida is actually using an antidote to reverse the effects of the other sorcerer's medication which I think was damaging Sylhan's brain and memories, hence the name of the title, but also in a more metaphorical and expanded sense I think it refers to Gjord being the antidote to all the bad shit happening to Sylhan.
AHAHAHAHAHHAHAA. Omg my eyes are leaking! Well, RIP anyone's dreams for this to be a fluffy innocent lil romp in the flowers. My god Guwon is packing a fucking bazooka in there. I'm surprised he still has enough blood supply for a nosebleed. Also RIP teach's asshole.
AHAHAHAH it's almost like I was psychic or something, look at all the panicked comments. There was something off about him and this idyllic little village that's magically untouched by the End of the World Plague. Y'all need some more critical thinking skills.
I get the vibes that Guwon is a red flag wrapped in green packaging. Only time will tell, but at the beginning of the manhwa didn't he crawl out of a collapsed building? What if he's a zombie? I dunno there's definitely something about him that's not quite right, the whole not knowing anything about anything stuff aside. He was also willing to just let MC expire without interfering if he wasn't 'useful'. What if MC stops being useful? What if someone else in the village stops being useful?
I enjoy the fact he's still a jerk, in the sense that it's unrealistic for someone so narcissistic to suddenly have an epiphany that they're actually an asshole and start mending their ways. For Jaekyung to suddenly turn unto a simpering idiot whining for forgiveness would just be bad writing imho, at least at this point in time, nothing's happened yet that would cause him to have a change of heart because people like him only care about themselves.
He perceives the world as revolving around his own needs, fuck everyone else. To change that mentality would either take a pretty big shock, or an internal need to divert course because of something he feels that he needs himself. I think that's what's slowly happening with him realizing he doesn't like not having Kim Dan around for a body pillow. Even taking care of Kim Dan in the bath was more of a bother to him than a conscious thought about "hey maybe I should be considerate and wash this guy's ass out", he's never been considerate so to expect him to be kind at this point is a bit ridiculous honestly.
My toxic trait is enjoying how much this title makes people uncomfortable (▰˘◡˘▰)
I love how Wolfgang is just head over heels for Shin and super into him, kingdom be damned.
This is why official translations are so important, the fan translation messed up the meaning of the text messages so badly that they didn't translate well at all and I found their conversation confusing, this makes so much more sense and I love the interaction.
I stopped reading this cause the top always makes statements that are super problematic during sex and he's painted as a green flag, I figured I'd drop in and take a look at the latest chapters to see if there's some development there and immediately am met with "I like it when you're in pain because of me" and I'm like "NOPE" this sure hasn't gotten better! And the MC still thinks he's cute when he does his obnoxious manipulative shit. I'm ok with red flag tops as long as they're upfront about it, this bullshit passive-aggressive covertly a manipulative asshole that wants to come off as clingy and cute stuff makes me just want to stab my eyeballs out with sporks, so I'll just take this off my list.
My hot take for the day is that Jin isn't anything remarkable, he just confessed first.
To me this story is about two people falling in love with one another but out of synch. Literally nothing makes Jin worthy of being put on a pedestal, save for the fact he said he liked Hanjoon first. I don't even think Jin fully comprehended what dating a gay man fully entails, because when it came to sex he saw a side of Hanjoon that freaked him out. I am personally glad they didn't go through with it that time because Hanjoon wasn't in love and it would have been another notch on his headboard he'd have moved on from and Jin would have just closed off and been traumatised. Hanjoon has since then had time to reflect and realise that "holy shit, I am actually catching feelings for this man." I enjoy that part of it, I also enjoy the fact they are fucking TALKING in these past two chapters about the situation between them and their feelings and how those feelings are starting to align. I see people complain all the time about couples in manga not communicating properly, but when it actually happens in a story they're like "boring, where's the drama?!"
The hell.
Willing to bet creepy blondie twink wants to rape that ass too. He's definitely fucked in the head and MC going with him is not the best course of action.
