Unpopular opinion: Why's everyone so obsessed with memes? Personally I think they distract from the story. I also personally hate when translators insert their own jokes into the panels. I'm not here to read what the translator/uploader thinks is funny (9 times out of ten it's just cringe anyway). Just my own personal take on that trend.

I kinda agree. Not all uploaders only put memes in the end, some of them put comments in the webtoon/manga like it's a useful explanation that's related to the story. I don't mind the memes at the end of the chapter, bcs it's funny most of the times, but the ones in the middle of the chapter is just distracting kind of like when someone is peeping and commenting on what you're reading behind you lol

Theyre giving their own time, effort and sometimes even at their own expense doing this scanlations and sharing it for free. Its their own work so theyre free to add whatever they want with it tbh I think showing their comments from time to time & sharing their jokes is not really a bother compared to uncleaned or badly translated works, so just read and be thankful.

I have zero issue with a page of notes for example that explains why certain translations didn't work or offer explanations for tougher translations they had to change in the chapter, that can be very useful to explain certain scenes if they don't seem clear. But you seem to be getting where I'm coming from with the commentary inserted in the middle. The memes is just eyeroll central for me lol, but I get why some people enjoy them, I'm just not a fan personally.

While I appreciate when people share their work with the general public, this does not mean that their practices or presentation are above critique. Groups choose to scanlate and uploaders choose to upload chapters for free of their own volition, I didn't ask them for a personal favour to do this, nor should they expect that all people will automatically enjoy all aspects of their releases/sharing. Sorry if it came across as ungrateful, I'm just expressing a dislike for a trend that seems to be taking over in many manhwa uploads lately, it's kind of a ridiculous amount in some of them too.

After reading this completely and coming to the comments I'm just floored by how many people just make any kind of excuse to humanize garbage-level villains. Paulo didn't even have any redemption to his character, he continued to abuse, manipulate, and disrespect every character especially Gabriel at every turn, also the sheer arrogance and superiority complex made me gag. Sure, he's a powerful 1000 year old vampire, but he had zero remorse and zero redeeming qualities, even his looks are "standard European white guy" when compared to Saliou's more interesting appearance.
No, I'm afraid I couldn't see Paulo as anything more than a mass-murdering, child-killing, raping, abusive, obsessive, conniving, self-serving asshole, who didn't give any fucks about Gabriel. Where are the people seeing his 'devotion' or that he had a 'past that turned him twisted'. He was twisted to begin with, and has no regard for any life but his own. The way he just ignores the dying wolves and is like "oh the magnificent sun!" and I'm like, bro, I hope you die a painful fucking death 'cause you deserve to be staked with a staff forged with the power of the sun your irredeemably evil ass is staring at.
Saliou and Gabriel may have had a lukewarm reunion at first, but the scene in the hotel where Saliou actually asks for consent and asks if Gabe wants the lights turned off, my man, that's respect there and genuine care. Their affection also grew and grew as they travelled together and rekindled their childhood romance. What kind of drugs are people on to even compare Paulo's psychotic behaviour to Saliou's genuine warmth, affection, and gentleness with Gabriel??? Y'all, I can't even.

Ends up being a 3p, which is fine and all, but Jamil's character development gets fucking eviscerated and for me personally he was the sexier of the two, so I didn't like how obviously Pray got more of Jan's attention/time in later chapters. Hell, throughout the entire thing. It loses extra points for that.

Not everyone who has sex together does so for love or to be in a committed relationship, they may do it cause the sex feels good and they both enjoy having it. I don't see anything wrong with what Seo's expecting or saying so I don't know why people are like "He's an asshole! He's a jerk!" He's just a healthy young man hooking up, does no one have tinder or grindr for booty calls? I mean, honestly.

I am pretty sure people will be getting ready to forgive Taehwan for treating Yeonwu like garbage when they find out that Taehwan was probably raped in the past or something like that.
Repeat after me, just because you're a victim of sexual assault does not give you a free pass to abuse other people. Seek professional help.

I see an update, I look, disappointment hits. I would like to read more about the couple that both enjoy being together and are actually cute together, but I understand the author needs a bit more exposition with other couples and to show different relationship dynamics, even though this one's not my favourite. Patience is a virtue! I shall wait!
Where my lightsabers at? I was looking forward to seeing (not seeing?) sexy censored dongs, what's with this shower fog? It's not like this is the porn section or anything.
