This is why official translations are so important, the fan translation messed up the meaning of the text messages so badly that they didn't translate well at all and I found their conversation confusing, this makes so much more sense and I love the interaction.

Sure this is a treat, and if you go back to look over the previous trans it could give the impression that Hanjoon was bullying Jin when he's being teasing instead, having the two to compare makes it more obvious what the tone is and where it was going. Also the "insult me to my face" part didn't translate at all well, which it's clear now that he means "I want to see you" while it was similar in the fan trans it was just messy.
It was bad translation, sorry.

Ummm pr here, TBH i don’t really think the translation is totally off. what had happened before was while translating the texts, the format on the docs was a bit confusing so I think some of it might have jumbled up… big apologies though
Hiiii, there's no need to apologise! We know translating ain't an easy job and we make mistakes sometimes.
Maybe they somhow misunderstood the conversation bcoz sometimes there are some words missing
English is somehow like a first language for me so I can understand or automatically correct the sentence myself in my mind and understand what's going on, why and what happened by understanding the situation.
Plus as too why I said some words were missing is bcoz like evn in chapter 23....there was a word missing in one of the txt bubbles where it's written "I worried............."
I can automatically in my mind think of it as "I was worried........." But for some whose first language isn't English or who aren't fluent in might mistake the situation.
Maybe this is also one of the reasons.

It was this part, people who are fluent in English can understand but there are some who aren't that fluent and may say they didn't understand just bcoz of a missing word.

I stopped reading this cause the top always makes statements that are super problematic during sex and he's painted as a green flag, I figured I'd drop in and take a look at the latest chapters to see if there's some development there and immediately am met with "I like it when you're in pain because of me" and I'm like "NOPE" this sure hasn't gotten better! And the MC still thinks he's cute when he does his obnoxious manipulative shit. I'm ok with red flag tops as long as they're upfront about it, this bullshit passive-aggressive covertly a manipulative asshole that wants to come off as clingy and cute stuff makes me just want to stab my eyeballs out with sporks, so I'll just take this off my list.
