Putting aside the shonen ai tag, this is probably one of my fave mangas I’ve like ever read ;w; it was painful but so good :’) I’m happy they met each other in heaven again c:
damn the author is really good at framing using the rope from the shrine bell to visually mimic hanging/death & also the paneling/passage of time using the same figure w diff details has got me :’)
so sad that so many of these characters have sad back stories but tbh I kinda expect it bc they’re in this profession & previous chapters already show that the author isn’t afraid of making things tragic
I’m scared ngl even tho ik hyo is older & not a child, this is still a but weird to me cause taehyuk sees him as one/raised him :’) o well I’ll just come back when the flashback ends~
Considering the idea that hyeon is a bit of a control freak I low key feel like he has at least an inkling of a feeling that yiseon is not ok, but he’s just deluding himself/telling himself everything is ok… and that he has control over yiseon when he doesn’t really
Ik lots of ppl are either conflicted over the story/characters or they hate them but tbh I enjoyed reading this

Just finished reading chapter 47 & I’m so shook about what really happened to deon & everyone else :’) I didn’t expect this to be so tragic and sad since the beginning was more of an action comedy ;w;w;
The way I see things… the emperor barely saw his son ever; I feel like he’d rarely know if he’s being mistreated. I mean like based on previous chapters, he was just super neglectful & the prince literally also hardly/never met w him bc of his toxic controlling mother so I don’t blame the emperor for not knowing anything/caring about the prince. If anything, I feel like he thought the prince was as bad/evil as his mother, which is why he looks so surprised in this chapter when ettienne (idk how to spell) cares for rishar.
Trauma is difficult to get understand in all aspects & it takes time for people to either heal from it or accept someone else who is related to it. It’s the same way with the prince :’) so I personally can’t hate the emperor or the prince or anyone else (except for the mother…) bc I do sympathize with them. Just my opinion tho ofc you’re free to hate whoever you want.
aww I wish this had more chapters :’) idk why it’s marked complete when I’m sure it isn’t. Also I’m curious about the blond ashen eyes mc :oo cause he hasn’t had much screen time after minje showed up
I get that some ppl think tsuwabuki is annoying & I do understand—but like the way I see it, the reason why he has shit self esteem and is so selfless and kind is bc of the way he grew up. He was an illegitimate son, someone who was shunned from the entire wolf clan & was thus a servant instead of a young master. The fact that he basically got demoted at such a young age & most everyone treated him badly probably makes him feel like he’s of less worth (& that his sister, who has pure wolf blood is better suited as the god’s wife). I’m sure he’s always wanted to be accepted by his half sister & everyone else too… which is why he believes her words & why he’s now in this situation :’)
I’m hoping he’ll be ok though & that he’ll be less of a dummy in the future after healing from past trauma <3

Idk why I somehow can’t get into this manhwa ;w; I’m only on chap 18 tho so maybe that’s why… I have faith cause this is the same author of orv (which I love) so I’m gonna continue on to chap 30 & see how I feel after that…
