any updates on when this will be off haitus?
The author is currently working on a new season of a different series! In a past update on that series she said she just tends to finish a season of a series and then go off and do a new season for a different one of her series so I’d say she doesn’t really plan on coming back to this one anytime soon. She doesn’t really give set dates on when she returns to a series, she’ll just post like a month before saying that she’s preparing the next season of something. Sorry for the vague info.. that’s kind of just how she’s done things so the most I can do is explain, but not say anything for sure.

No, the scan team just broke apart. We just have to hope a new team picks up a translation or just wait for SuBLime's release of the volumes.

I don't think he was. It was a nightmare. I don't know how to explain it. He was left alone. He hates being alone which explains a lot of his actions. He was scared, and he imagined being swallowed by the hands and trapped

Oh thought it was some kind of nightmare. Gawd. If he was really raped then that's another horrible twist in the story.
it was a childhood flashback i think--
He was definitely abused and that was a flashback in a form of a nightmare. Not sure yet if he was beaten and tortured or r*ped. But he did suffer a huge trauma orchestrated by his father for some obscure reasons. He was also locked down at home during all his teen years until he became like a zombie from all the abuse and medication (remember that scary panel of him at the doctor with his hair down and his eyes all red?). A noble man called Lord Song is the one involved in this major trauma and it seems SH is still unable to face him. He is actually so broken that he numbs himself with sex, opium and tons of medicine all while giving up on any kind of healthy social behavior so his bad will be pissed. He barely resists suicide thoughts. He said in a previous chapter: "If I killed them all and myself, will that be easier?". So clearly, some people, including his father, did something really bad to him during his teens (︶︿︶)
Yeah I definitely agree there's trauma there. We'll just have to wait and see if the author clarifies, cuz sometimes when children are scared their imagination goes crazy. The number of hands on him too doesn't make sense.
