This is a shounen AI but when I read the “little mushroom” novel I was crying so fucking hard at the end. Ever since that one scene where An Zhe left Lu Feng, the tears just did not stop falling. I was reading late into the night and my pillow was fucking wet from tears. It was so SO EMOTIONAL, before the good ending came I literally wanted to die cause that shit gave me crippling depression but it was so good.

This morning I was crying because of “rainbow city” because I came to the realization that all the characters in Rainbow city are fake MEANING ILL NEVER BE ABLE TO PINCH DR.SEOK’S LITTLE HAMSTER CHEEKS. ILL NEVER BE ABLE TO GIVE HIM A HUG CAUSE HE’S SO FUCKING ADORABLE I JUST WANNA BANG MY HEAD ON A WALL, AND FORFEIT ALL MORAL POSSESSIONS TO HIM MY SWEET SWEET BABY. BUT THE STORYLINE IS SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD.

Hwang young’s misery also made me cry. Towards the end was lowkey so painful, cause all bro ever wanted was affection and warmth which he never received. And the only time he received it was from his kidnapper who was playing the role of a fictional character. He wanted to leave but at the same time still wanted to cling onto the warmth he never received so much so it makes you want to root for the guy that broke his legs and imprisoned him. IT STINGS IT STINGS SO MUCH SO INTIMATE YET TOXIC BUT IT’S SO GOOD. Literally my favorite psychological BL it’s so underrated. Cause instead of messed up Seme x random dude Uke that don’t even like him, they made the Uke messed up as well, making the Seme’s actions fit with the Uke’s needs despite it being wrong and twisting the reality to make everything seem okay to the point it messes with even the readers mind ITS JUST SOO SOO GOOD.
