Anderheim (or andrim, whatever) IS evil. He's always been evil. If yall forgot, Anderheim didn't transmigrate INTO the villain he WAS ALWAYS THE VILLAIN. Anderheim IS the one that did all the horrible dirty back handed things before the events of the story, hes the same person. Hes alsp the one that cursed and subsequently had Maria drugged in the church, which ultimately led to her being executed. He's never limited himself to Nasha, hes already had history of being evil and vile to anyone related to Nasha. He will be evil to his family. He was never a good person, do not expect him to have morals with all the golf he hid in his house??

Sure, Anderheim knew already he's not moral because he was aware of the different story routes, but the reader wasn't. He's not flawed in the way Anderheim is, being avaricious and vengeful, even, his flaw is that his loyalty is shaky and can be practically bought with sex, his set of morals is nonexistent deapite putting on that facade early on in the series by being righteously hateful towards Anderheim. Plus like i said, he doesn't even just entertain Anderheim's plans, he does cruel things on his own without being instructed too, just to be a good dog. I just find him a bit pathetic and off putting
plus i wouldnt even say his son that's fucking the priest is even as bad as him
Malaki is a lot easier to empathise with than Anderheim to begin with, given everything that's happened to him
plus bro like tries to understand Malaki's reasons for what he does and pass them thru his own moral filter, unlike Jorga who will just do whatever. I don't find him as off putting bc I can rationalise his actions and understand that he's going to empathise with Malaki despite the conflicting morals.
Not that this book is particularly good, but I just dont think most characters are written as bad as Jorga
overall if anyone rlly gaf abt my opinion, I think it wouldve been more interesting if Jorga has a set of morals that would conflict with his actions. That he would feel regret at betraying the prince he swore his loyalty to ultimately in the name of love.
I dont need him to have a hero complex like Lytro (i remembered his name, r u proud of me), but i wish he'd at least be haunted by his choices as a character that was introduced to the story as a righteous moral knight. It wouldve made his fall more like juicy ok
