Idk but I forgot the reason why he was hunted by his step father. It's an adventure ride for them and Isaac (i think) is kidnapped by antagonist and almost raped him but Felix comes to the rescue or Isaac being badass as before, kick some butts.

Then he finally remember and idk if it was the first book was when he said that Benjamin was his son or the second. They lived okay and the 3rd book was about his cousin's love story. it’s not angsty per se but it’s def not all fluff and happiness esp the recent chapters. It deals w mental illness and stuff maybe wait a few chapters bc according to spoilers it gets happier around ch 63 :)
