Okay so i took a peak at the raws and damn i feel conflicted. I cant really read japanese but at the last few pages where megane-san had a flashback of hi and editor-san fucking while his current lover was talking kinda frels like he still has lingering feelings for editor-san... which kinda made me feel bad for current lover-san... nevertheless, i also got the feeling after i read the last pages that megane-san will grow to love current lover-san even more than he did to editor-san... It's like their bittersweet love which did not fully blossom will also be the start of megane-san's journey towards healing, acceptance, and love - - all of which he will walk together with current lover-san...
... and honestly, that's why i think this manga is a masterpiece because unlike any smut yaois out there, the mangaka showed us that its not just black and white when it comes to love - - that there are also an array of shades of gray... some may start from purely physical that developed into love, some started as friends and even as fuck bodies, and some as childhood friends that grew into lovers... but this one had a different take to love.. megane-san found love with editor-san, he grew, he blossomed, some things may have happened in between that caused their separation but as they went separate ways and journey with their own partners now, they will take their bittersweet love with them, and try to make things better now with their current lovers... and that for me is sad and very beautiful at the same time... what a great read.
