Solo Leveling
what a masterpiece. excellent pacing and wonderful character design. i do wish the ending delved more into his son discovering who his dad is rather than a training montage. Beru is my fav character!
While the use of the Cup is disappointing on the surface, readers need to realize that MC never wanted fame or recognition. Ashborn cherished humanity more than anything. When MC and Ashborn became one, that love for humanity became a deep grief at all the lives lost in the final war. The cup being used, though disappointing, was the only way to correct that grievous wrong.
I think the story would have benefited most from the cup not being used, as by using it, all of the turmoil up until then seems pointless. As someone who extensively studied writing and the art of making stories, I don't think that was the best thing for the story. However, any author will tell you that stories create themselves. They go where they want to go. "It's what the story wanted" was something I heard often from my fellow writers in workshops. I don't know if that will make sense to any non-writers out there lol.
