Hm... I don't get it either... I'd understand if the author also posted here to get more views and popularity since I've seen this happening. But tbh I think authors would be better off trickling chapters here and leaving 10-20 advanced chapters in patreon.
I understand this is free there and those sites are how authors make money. But I don't really like them even more when you consider that what you buy there is access and not the chapters per se. But I've already seen enough tea about this kind of site/platform over years of using wəbnovel/q!dian to know not to fully trust it... I'd rather support the artist through patreon and drop the comic if those platforms are the only source... but each person has their own experience.
