The way this plot moves is giving me whiplash. This woman resented that man so much she FAKED HER DEATH, but upon seeing him again folded like a lawn chair. It took DAYS for him to work his way back into her heart despite everything that happened, the lying and scheming and forcibly terminating her pregnancy... And now they're just gunna be a happy couple? What happened to the angst? The love/hate dynamic? They're just gunna what? Go back in their home country where they'd be monarchs? Please be so fr rn

It's literally not about micheol or whv his fuckàss name is, it's about why she still has such a hard time distancing herself and why she stayed in that messed up abusive relationship for years, because of these few good years with him in her youth. It's not to humanize him bc we all hate him anyways!!
Finally! Some sensible comment. the background story is like a way of closure for Hae-Soo. We can see her having a hard time moving on because there was actual love going on in their relationship. It’s like her last stage of grief. I hope she learns to love herself more after this.
