How come no one is mentioning that CUTE AS HELL kiss on the cheek that Won gave Seju? It was just too adorable, and look at Seju’s expression in those panels ..that girl has gone so long without this kind of pure and simple affection that my heart melts whenever these moments happen. For e.g, first when Won asked her if she wanted to dip her feet in the pool and Seju cried and herself admitted ‘it’s been so long’ since she received such innocent kindness.. that really showed the extent of her loneliness and it really hit me then just how much love she had been deprived of. Then when we saw Won pull her closer in bed and they woke up cuddling, again we could see the impact all these expressions of love were having on Seju. Slowly, through all these actions Won was breaking through the barrier that Seju had put up as a self defense to prevent any more heartbreak & in part also due to the cycle of guilt she had been stuck in ever since Sumin’s 10 years of torture.
Anyway, what’s important is that in all of these moments, including the one in the latest chapter where Won kisses her on the cheek, we always see a vulnerable and slightly shocked Seju in response: her eyes slightly widen in disbelief and she’s rendered speechless (she also blushes at times due to Won’s boldness). In these scenes I really get to see Seju begin to heal from her past & it’s these small moments that really define the relationship between Seju & Won overall. What Seju so desperately needed was someone pure of heart and truly a ‘caretaker’, and she’s 100% found that in Won. And we also see how caring Seju can be in turn towards Won (when she took care of her piercing and aftercare and also was careful not to hurt her after her head injury, she was also sensitive of not hurting Won’s feelings after falling in the pool and seeing her cry).. It reminds me of a line she spoke in the main story: ‘Am I not allowed to love even one person the way I want to?’. (Something like that pls don’t quote me lol)
Well now we got to see the real Seju, who is finally able to express her love freely and without fear of rejection or any other drama. And it’s so obvious how much she cares about Won and wants to be with her no matter what, I mean girl literally wrapped up EVERYTHING in Seoul and decided to ‘stay for a very long time’ in Jeju just because she wanted to give this relationship with Won a solid chance. (It’s so funny how Won still did not understand that Seju came back to stay with her in this hotel that she’s also chosen to run now, and ended up asking her to employ her again lmao, i was literally like ‘did u not read the VERY EXPLICIT signs wonnie’)
I had a lot of other thoughts about this chapter (the second half) as well, but I was thinking of waiting until the final chapter next week (DEPRESSED as i type) to give my thoughts on how they come to a resolution at the beach scene. But especially since the story is about to end next week, i was hoping to hear what everyone else’s favorite Won/Seju moments were during ‘One’?

My favourite moment was when I thought this story was gonna actually have an interesting plot, and it got potentially revealed that Won was like a trained body guard lol Then the plot became rushed af so I checked out, wish this could get redone someday as a longer series. I feel it has seeds of good plot points in it but the execution hasn’t been good.
Like your details on Seju x Won. I'm dying when I saw the kiss Won gave on Seju's cheek, toooo sweet!!!! (hehe I too mentioned it earlier in my view for this chap :P)
haha Won still not getting the idea that Seju chose to stay in Jeju mainly for her too.. I guess it's either Won is too pure or too slow to notice the signs or Won holds her feelings because she thinks Seju still has strong feelings on Sumin??
My favourite Won/Seju moments : the kiss Won gave on Seju's cheek, every bear hugs Won gave to Seju (during the sleep / when Seju back to Jeju), Seju cares for Won's piercing, Seju's tease, ""You can hold me tight as much as you want to see me" awwww.. man there are too many!
oh.. and I like the development on how Seju call Won from Caretaker >> Do Won ssi >> Won ah- ah ah ah~ *censorship in my eyes* lol
anyway, I wish to see them open up their feelings towards each other next chapter.
this chapter checked all the boxes for me except for the censoring part..but since the uncensored version will be released in the future it’s all good!
I loved how soft and caring Won was being with Seju, and how cute Seju was teasing Won again..especially the panel with her smirking .
I really REALLY appreciate how consistent Team Gaji is when drawing Won’s wide shoulders since this feature is very common for swimmers.. and yea I’m into them (don’t judge me lol) cause’ they make her seem so much more protective and reliable/strong. and Seju got to be embraced by those wide shoulders at the end of this chapter, it made me really happy to see her finally receive the comfort that she’s been craving for so long. You could tell by her reaction to Won’s embrace that she was so relieved and really just needed it..no one’s been there for her for so long and finally now she gets to have someone take care of her in her vulnerable moments. This really made me so glad, because for so long Seju had been hiding and keeping her pain/fears bottled up but she’s able to let it all out now because she has someone she trusts and who truly cares for her. These two are just so compatible. Every scene between the two of them just stands out because of their dynamic, and because of that ‘One’ has been such a great read (in my opinion). And although there is drama heading their way next chapter, I’m sure they can resolve it in a healthy manner, to show us what Seju has learned from her toxic relationship with Sumin and also to prove that Won is not someone who will give up on Seju so easily. Sorry for the rant but i just really enjoyed this update so much! x

To all of the haters who were sending in hate comments about Won last week ...literally how is there anything to criticize about Won especially after reading this chapter This is what Seju needs and deserves after all that she’s been through all the years (and there’s no point in denying that most of the pain she was dealt was at the hands of Sumin and that too, purposely. So, on that front i really don’t see what the remaining seju/sumin shippers are on about..why would you want seju to be with someone who caused her so much pain like that? And although these two have gotten past their toxicity at this point, it’s a relationship that just cannot be picked up again because sumin is happy with sungji, and now Seju is getting to that point with Won. Reading all those comments last week all i was wondering was: why is there such a huge fuss when seju finally chooses to love someone else?)
And on top of that, to be nitpicking little things about Won (being manly, unrealistic, etc) I hope this chapter made it clear to these people why Won is perfect for Seju’s future. Anyways, just wanted to say my piece about this argument from last week
Are you dumb or just twisting the comments from readers on purpose? If you read the comments they were not at all about people not wanting Seju to find new love or sticking with Sumin forever. They were about the shitty writing in comparison to how it used to be, and Won being a stereotypical "princely" character.

woke up at 5am because i realized the reason wonnie was crying in the chapter where seju falls into the pool to try to drown was because she knew all about what happened to her mother + had read her mother’s diary and knew about ‘Lets Live..We will live no matter what.’ No wonder she was so upset to see Seju in such a state where she wanted to kill herself like that.. It also gives a deeper meaning to all those glances she was giving to Seju in the beginning like she wanted to understand her as best as she could ?
