(I thought I'll finally see the “I found you.” “You found me.” scene. Well, we gotta respect the author's wish.)
But man. For a second there I thought, I really really really thought, I already moved on from this. That I already forgot about it. But just seeing the prologue, just a glimpse, I could feel a tiny prick in my heart. And it just gets deeper and deeper. And everything is rushing back to me right now and I'm actually crying while writing this. Because even though it's fiction, even though it's a story, a short story, any death of a character that I like or love, drives me into a helpless and hopeless state.

Welcome to our first lesson! Today, we will learn the two ways of scheduling a meeting with someone.
1.) How to schedule a meeting with a normal person in the medieval age (like a normal person): Write a letter. State your concern. Ask if they are able to meet with you personally. Ask when they can be available to do so. Send the letter. Wait for response. *You can try to include a small gift with the letter (e.g., bouquet of flowers, head of their enemies, etc.)
2.) How to schedule a meeting with a normal person in the medieval age (like Raphael): Write a letter. Casually state that you built a building in the name of that person because you are filthy rich and you can spend millions and still be rich. Discuss topics about said building. Try to use flattering or compelling words while you do so. Send the letter. Wait for response. *No need for small gifts but you can include a diamond ring—it's practically a “small” gift to you.

Wow... I thought that Julia could be an adorable character, but she's terribly pretentious, whiny, vain (but at least she recognized that Queen Cayena is much, much more beautiful than her), spoiled, and just wants to show off (as noted by Anne). She did come from the countryside, if my memory serves me correctly. She obviously thought that this would be her big debut.
Somehow, this applies to real life. I knew a lot of people, arrogant and vain, before, who felt like they were IT at the province, but realize they're actually pretty common at the capital. They thought they were a 10, maybe an 11, then have a cruel realization that they're only a 5.
But then again, it's just the beginning. Just the beginning, only knew her from a few chapters. She can still improve, there's still a possibility. But... But I just want to cut the tip of her bangs, just right above her eyebrows, or just remove them entirely. ^^
If you're the food, then yes. Yes, I like it very much. (2)
