I mean, I was expecting you to dominate Jin and him to give you the d– Yes. It is a beautiful feast for the eyes. Say, uhh...could Jin also put you in a Turtle Shell knot after this? *Sips tea*
Tho! I must say how I adore the monologue. I've read so many BL with just them doing only the devil's tango. I mean, I don't mind since some BL is usually just for the tango– I mean, the story. I also know that “expressions speak louder than words”. But I just need more like this.
The beautiful, sensual sentences, the bold, feisty words. How they admire their lover like a piece of art in that passionate moment... I'm just gonna read Michael Faudet's books.

WARNING! I can't understand Hangul, so I used the trusty-rusty Google translate, and basically my common sense.
- After the trial thingy, Seth surrendered (just based on my perspective), and I think his powers (and immortality) got sealed(?), and Horus became the new king.
- I was unsure of what happened to Anubis, it looks like he turned into something inhuman, like a plant monster thingy, idk how to describe it, and he saw Osiris's shadow.
- I think Seth got a new admirer, a tanned hunk with long hair and beard. He's hot, idk his name tho. But he's hot. He kinda gawked when he saw Seth's face, I mean I also did when I first see Seth so can't blame him.
If some information are incorrect or insufficient, I'm very sorry. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone decides to add more context, or provide the correct information. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
Edit: Apparently, some information was from an AU. So mama Seth's hole is still fine...for now.
I kinda feel like a dumbass hahaha. I even thought that Horus, despite being a horndog and obsessive, kinda changed because he admires and respects Seth. Then he was suddenly so rough with him. But I mean, I didn't mind it but I did pity Seth's hole
So apparently, the last two points on my spoiler are just AUs. Welp, I was looking forward to the angst but turns out it was not canon. ╥﹏╥
After the trial, Seth became a Demi God. To regain his powers he needs to collect the souls of the humans he killed to establish the correct order of things. AFTER that he will have to go to Ra’s boat. What happened to Anubis? He became a God thanks to Osiris, in order words he finally broke the family ties with Seth and is now in search of Seth on behalf of Osiris. Who’s the Greek God? We don’t know yet. Ut will be revealed in S2. What we know is that he might try to help Seth on his quest. And yes, he has a one sided crush on him.
What happened to Horus? Obviously he became the new Ruler of Egypt and sent his bird to watch over Seth and protect him.

(But first, I just gotta say that although, yes, there are readers who hates the ml regardless of his reasons/story, but don't lump them, and get upset, with the readers who simply wanted ML to grow some balls, or find them. Or those who wants to question why he won't go to FL and try to explain things to her now, and why he hasn't given her a proper apology, more so now that we know that he's assuming she also went back in time. I mean, you really can't expect many, many people to have the same mindset and reasoning. Just like in Abandoned Empress, some people support the ship but some don't.)
Anyway, to those who blames the FL for what happened to her, please pick up a psychology book and hit your head with— read it please, and try to thoroughly comprehend it. Or Google. See how traumas, what events, what mindset forced into her, what type of abuse she suffered, affected her personality before calling her weak and a pushover, you privileged twat. This isn't something people should be divided on.
“She could've done this, done that.” The girl is suffering from low self-esteem, among everything else...and you expect her to just suddenly stand up for herself in that state? When she went back in time, she didn't just magically/instantly changed to a tough mama. But it was realizing that she died with her son not recognizing her, the anger deep within her, her mother instincts, and her survival instincts, that caused her to toughen up and try to improve herself so she and her child can be happy in this new life.
Anyway, yeah. Ta-ta! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Thankyou for this post. I'm honestly surprised that people are blaming the fl for what happened to her. She had no power and even if she had any, she wasn't aware of it. People really don't realise that a huge part of our behaviour and personality is learned by interacting with our environment. She was abused since childhood and expecting her to be anything but cowardly or a psychopath is pushing it. I'm surprised she is able to take all these steps to strengthen her position in this life let alone her previous life. People just don't realise how damaging trauma and abuse is to your confidence and personality and your ability to function day to day.
She returned back in time where she is already pregnant with Elle. She cant possibly divorce him now knowing her husband will get to have custody of her ONLY child. That is the one thing she couldn’t allow since she already lost Elle once. Her father won’t support her with the custody battle if she decided to divorce her husband and thats why she can’t leave right away. At least right now, she know what to expect and tried her best to protect her child the way she can.
She’s severely abused and depressed before she got married with her husband in her past life. Plus her only child dont even recognize her. That, to a mother is a devastating blow. She’s trying her best to change. She doesnt magically become strong hearted because its her and her child’s life on the line. This is not like other manhwas that the FL reincarnated or went back to their past life and changed personality quickly. The other FL’s dont have anything to lose. She, on the other hand, have to think about her son.
I mean, if you dont like the FL at all, you might as well stop reading this then.
If you think that she's not improving, not 'develop', then maybe you're looking things the wrong way? Would you want her to just “Aight, I just died and went back in time, should i conquer the world after killing my family and husband?" That's really impulsive and reckless, and you have to remember she's pregnant.
Yeah. Especially, when they make it look like it's something easy to do and they would've compared with what they could've done. And sometimes, they try to undervalue your experience and how you reacted, saying that they also went through the same shit but they did things differently, and somehow make you feel bad because you didn't do the same. And you just want to just hit your head in the wall for forcing yourself to open up then getting humiliated and judged in return.
It just shows you that there are certain people who's either privileged, insensitive, unaware, or simply naive. People react to things differently. Seeing how they insult and blame Reina, a very damaged person, is deeply upsetting. Reina, in her first life, cowered in fear and she was passive. She didn't think that she can do anything about her situation, she didn't really have any motivation. Until her son. She decided to try and change for her son. Her strong resolve gradually building her confidence as the chapter goes by. And if that's not character development, then istg Hinata Shoyo's hair is actually green not orange.
she won't die, she will take some of his money and buy another house if she has enough brain. and take care of her child, meet new people, grow out of her trauma slowly and come back a better person by herself. she does not need the duke to grow, the opposite it will be better for her story-wise to grow as a person with her own power.
in my post, I actually listed everything she did ever since she comes back to life. and everything she did differently and did the same as her first life. guess what she did more in her second life? I let you guess. it isn't her fault, by the way, it is the story/plot fault if anything that support this massage "you can't grow without a man"
I never said, “she can't grow without a man” I'm saying that she needs money and support to give the kid a good life, the reason I said “Die in the streets” is that she probably has to juggle a job, on top of providing a good environment for her child. So if she waits and gets money and gets the support she needs, she can divorce him and go her merrily way. Y do u think stories with villains always stay with their horrible family to get money? Because they need support so they can live a good life.
dude do you know how many single moms out there even way back then? and for your info she is not a commoner, she has enough money to live off for the rest of her life if she was smart enough to deal with the duke. but no, the story makes her so she will never leave him cause without him she is nothing! and yeas it pisses me off to see it, don't know about you. but from her POV she has NO REASON to stay married to him!! at all!
and I talk about the story only. focus ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I never said she did, and even if she is a “noble” she was literally thrown away by her family, she doesn't have an allowance nor is she allowed to go out, what support does she have? “She has no reason to stay married” didn't she state that once she gets her support and everything she’ll leave him?
Wow, u r just missing everything I'm saying, “my comment is dumb” yours is too, she said that her husband was allowed to see her child but not get close to her cause she was planning on getting divorced, of course, it's gonna impact the child smartass, but she still needs to take time and find him a great environment where he can learn no?
does not matter, she is still a noblewoman and she still gets money from her family cause blood if she asks for it and her father can't say anything. especially with the "fairy" event and her superpowers. she strong and have more than enough money to live without him. there is nothing that stops her after the deal with the duke.
I think it should be clear by now it just her excuse, she will never leave him now! she should have left him in the start.
You provided your statements, you tried to explain them but...this ain't it. Don't take this the wrong, but choose career path over being a lawyer. Anyway, I'll try to be professional but I most likely will be rude. Because a narrow-minded person, who can't accept that there's another side to a coin and just furiously impose their views on you is just hahahhaaha nvm.
Like, no. Just. N. O. Reina, herself, don't have her personal dowry until now. She doesn't/can't/won't get anything out of her family, even if a penny, regardless of what you're talking about. Nobility? Blood? Are you serious? Shitty bagiterally tortured her for life, he doesn't care about her existence, much less if she needs money. The guy dictates almost every move in the house, he's in charge there. So her father CAN say something, and he probably would turn around and won't.
- Why do you think she's working hard at the Ducal estate? Right. She's trying to save up some money because she can't ‘ask’ her “family” for help because she knows her father is a shitty bag, her brother is kinda a shitty bag, the author made him a shitty bag, and that's why the readers view him as such: a shitty bag. Like, it was the first thing you'd ever think of when you first saw him. ‘This guy's a real shitbag.’
Just, how was your train of thought?
Was it like: ‘Yeah. This guy blamed her innocent daughter for the death of her mother, mentally tortures her, married her to someone to chuck her out of the house, commanded the husband not to love her, threatened to kill her if he did. But of course, when she asks for her monthly allowance, he won't say no. Because blood...? LIKE TRY TO EXPLAIN HOW'D YOU THINK THAT THE SHITTY BAG GIVES/WILL GIVE HER MO— ehem.
- Also, yes, she has “magic”, but more like tricks, they're not so strong and fully controlled by her to be called as ‘superpowers’. What can she actually do right now? Summon a splash of water? Ask the spirit to reenact the past? You want her to take her 1-year-old baby and skedaddle out of the Estate and open up a water station downtown, with a free memory check up? Or do you expect Reina to go all Katara on every enemy while holding El in her arms?
- Yes, I do agree, albeit, was also obvious, it is kinda predictable that there wil be a moment where she will hesitate to leave, or choose not to leave. But the story isn't finished yet. There could be a twist, who knows.
Though, regardless of that, the path you wished she took is just plain thoughtless and illogical. (●'◡'●)ノ
THANK U THANK U THANK U, I absolutely love you, u just read my mind. Just because the person is blood don't mean shit, I mean y do people think most villainess’ stay with their horrible family until they get money? If they truly cared for they would've left asap but some stay just to make enough money and then leave. Thank u so much for explaining it more professionally I love you (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
S-Staph it, you! ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ You're welcome. Tho, I don't know if I did it ‘professionally’ since I exploded in like every explanation but managed to stop myself. I just got pretty upset with his/her reasoning. I mean, how do people see abused children and think that their parents still care for them? It's so upsetting.
I mean, yes, this story is fiction, but this mindset, which is extremely one-sided and endangering to the abused, is actually real ;-; Reported child abuse cases are often overlooked because some people think this way, their motto: ‘blood is thicker than water’, and those who can't see the difference between discipline and abuse. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
let's be clear about one thing: if she didn't leave now she will NEVER leave him now. that is a fact by this story-wise and readers part. there is no point in even argue against it since it clear she will stay with him forever now.
she had a chance to leave when she did that pointless deal with him, and we all know this deal was the point since her son will be the hair anyway!! she could have to make a better, much wiser deal with him than that if you really think she has zero money. and why she did it - cause she knows from the past he WILL take her baby away from her! the only reason he didn't know is cause he didn't want their son to go crazy. still does not make her reasons to leave him less relevant.
so what you basically saying being a "noblewomen" is mostly useless and does not give her anything, which plot-wise is dumb if that the case. since if it is a pointless and useless title why give her a title she can't use against anyone?!! might as well make her a commoner. which again I don't agree her title is useless.
has for her power - she literally can KILL people. you do know that right? the fact she does not do that does not mean she can't. if she wanted something from her father, she can get it now if she really wanted too. it all depends on how she use her power.
Uhh... I will entertain you this one last time because I am so goddamn tired of your usual spiels and narrow-mindedness. Anyway, let's go! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
This fact doesn't indeed need an argument since you're the one here who keeps wanting her to leave, even if there are obvious predictions that they will be endgame. But who knows? Are you the author? Just like with Infinity War—I know they're completely unrelated—many didn't expect that many of the Avengers would get dusted but they did BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THE MOVIE MAKERS DECIDED! And how about Abandoned Empress—now they're kinda related—the fl still fell in love with the ml despite being brutal and killing her off in her first life because that's what the AUTHOR WROTE. I mean if you have so much problem with this book, fucking drop it so you won't have to impose your views on people—better yet, go write a book yourself where your lead came back to life and massacred the entire planet.
Your main point is that you want her to leave like "right now", right now! How many people have tried to explain it to you a dozen of times that she still doesn't have enough resources, wealth, to just divorce her husband and leave with her child? Let's say, that she leaves right now. Do you think that her current wealth will suffice for a long time? IT WON'T. We can assume that, with the current timeframe from when she strated managing to the present, she probably earned only more or less than a hundred dollars. If she leaves, she have to build a house somewhere because COMMON SENSE. She have to feed Elle, get him to attend school, either work or start a business, buy their clothes, food and many more. I mean it's simple math. It doesn't take an Einstein to observe her current life and think that she's not yet ready to live alone with Elle, just by themselves because SHE STILL LACK RESOURCES... I mean this is like someone just got their first salary, and their family suddenly urges them to go buy a house. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE, SIS!
I'm not saying that being a “noblewoman” is useless. Rather, being a noblewoman in her "FAMILY" is what was useless. WAS. Because right now, she's not just the Count's daughter, but she's the Duke's wife. The Duchess. Of course, you're going to comment that why didn't she leave him again since she's already a duchess— go study nobilities, their duties, their roles, the differences with their spouses. If the wife divorces their husband, unless they get personally recognized by the Royal/Imperial family, their status will demote to commoner or they will go back to their family and get their former title back, which is usually the “daughter/lady of (father's title/surname)”. DO YOU FREAKING THINK THAT REINA WILL BE WELCOMED BACK IN OPEN ARMS IF SHE WENT BACK TO HER FAMILY AND THEY'LL JUST HAND HER HER FORMER TITLE BACK? And do you think she would want to go back there? HELL NO! And it was also natural that every single dowry will go to the husband, almost none will go to the wife because PATRIARCHY, regardless of whoever between earned that dowry. Unless the husband actually respects his wife, he wouldn't give her any. THAT'S WHY SHE'S WORKING HARD RIGHT NOW! Also, now that she's got a little bit tougher, she's using her title proudly now so wtf are you staying? You just want her to go ransack some town and justify it because she's a duchess? Are you a thug? A gangster? Do you think Reina is the Godfather or something?
As for her powers—for the mother of God, how many times must I repeat this until you get it through your head—IT IS STILL UNSTABLE AND NOT FULLY DEVELOPED. AND WTH? So you're basically saying you want Reina to commit some crime, to commit patricide? Do you think that she won't get arrested for that...? Do you think, regardless if she has powers or not, the shitty bag of a father won't try to imprison her or kill her? That's like walking to the den of lions covered in pig's blood. Honestly, all the path you wished Reina took will lead her to her eventual demise. Like, dude. Reina has morals, if you do not, she's also finally using her brain right. I'm not sure what she's really planning right now, but I don't think that murdering or threatening to murder her father just because she can splash some water is something she'd do. It's like, you just add parsley on top of your meal and suddenly decide to challenge Gordon Ramsay. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE, SIS! (2)
Please. If you try to prove your point by repeating the SAME thing again without providing context based on logic and common sense, but just your own impulsive and thoughtless views, I'm afraid but you could be suffering from mild narcissism, or just ignorance. I mean, do you do this every time someone disagrees with you?
Just wise words from a poet that may help you: “Stop it, get some help.”
first idiotic point - don't like don't read - POINTLESS! you can't critic something you don't read! it is as simple as that. it seems your narrow-mindedness is showing too. if you don't have any better argument than being dumb "don't like don't read" bs then don't argue at all.
"the fl still fell in love with the ml despite being brutal and killing her off in her first life because that's what the AUTHOR WROTE." - you just prove my point, thanks. and this is not my problem with it, her falling for him again, I have no problem with that but I wish the story did it in a better way than her staying cause she forces to (despite she is not, she can leave using other ways) and falling for him again while being under his power all the time with zero ability to do anything or grow by HERSELF!! that what annoying about this. even if you say you don't care about character growth, it is still a flaw in this story!
"she probably earned only more or less than a hundred dollars." not really? she can sell all the things and create a separate account. what stopping her? right you looking for excuses why is totally powerless now cause she is married to the duke and her father is a bitch despite it say in story that those with the power of the fairy have power and influence on people. so don't worry, she will have a nice house even if she sells just a little of those things, she can buy a business and put it on her name etc...don't make into a useless dumb woman that can't do shit, cause that makes her into a useless character - lead to bad writing or at least don't support this kind of thing. There nothing you can't do if you try.
has for the other part, again who is there to force her to come back home again? is there some kind of policeman that will drag her there by force if she didn't? if you going to use the father's excuse, again she can fight him now with her power. she is not alone like she was! and she still has old title, even if you say that in her family it was pointless.
"SHE WENT BACK TO HER FAMILY AND THEY'LL JUST HAND HER HER FORMER TITLE BACK?" it does not up to them, a title is still a title she got by birth. her father isn't the king, STOP MAKING HIM INTO THAT!
but that the whole POINT of the deal!!! she could have got money, house anything mostly in this deal! the husband does not need to give her respect, but he will follow a writing deal! and again she can still buy a business or create one.
"You just want her to go ransack some town and justify it because she's a duchess?" I said SHE CAN not that she has to, she can still protect herself against people that try to abuse her and the father does abuse her! she has the right to defend herself from him with her power if she wish to!
"IT IS STILL UNSTABLE AND NOT FULLY DEVELOPED." my ass, she controls it perfectly just after the fire event.
"Do you think that she won't get arrested for that" why should she get arrested?! for protecting herself?!! and her brother supports her! if she can fire the people that abuse her as she did, she can protect herself against the attack of her father and no one will say a thing, cause they know she is right!
right back at you “Stop it, get some help.” if you have no better argument than calling me names and say that I ignored while you are I ignored since you miss the point.
the point is to show her character growth by herself! that is the point that this story failed. and there is nothing wrong in admitting that.
I LOL'ED SO MUCH so I'll temporary retract the statement of not answering to you anymore. This is my immaturity, my own damn competitiveness. And just my hobby to correct wrong information, because it creates stupid people and the world doesn't require them anymore.
- First point. Wow. Uhh, a critique? In here? Are you implying your words are a critique? You may think it is because you seem to think so highly of yourself. A critique is given to a piece of art that is FINISHED, dumbass. Is the story finished? Is it concluded? Does it say completed on the status? What you're doing is CASTIGATING an unfinished work, dumbass. You are already berating some of the character, several scenarios, almost every decision of the female lead, you are suggesting things she should have done and shouldn't have done, even blatantly blaming her for everything shitty that happened on her first life (STOP VICTIM-BLAMING!) even though the story isn't yet finished. That's why I'm telling you to drop this because everything seems wrong for you. And you'll just see this negatively.
A real critic, NOT YOU, balances everything. Both the positive and negative. But for you, almost EVERYTHING she did, you had a problem with. And we're only at the 24th chapter. I told that to you, a READER who views this piece so negatively that you feel the need to impose your personal views to everyone who wants to read it in a neutral perspective.
- Second point. Oh, look! We have a dumbass. Yeah, sorry to burst your bubbles but that's the ABANDONED EMPRESS'S plot— you just proved my point, thanks. Several, actually.
And to just emphasize, Reina did grow by herself. She's the one who pulled herself out. Just because you're with someone, it doesn't stop you from “growing by yourself”. And what the Duke did is merely stand behind her and let her do what she wants and not interfere. She's the one who fired those servants, who met the spirit, helped put out the fire, save her people...etc. Just how can't you see that? By ‘herself’, you mean as in you want Reina to go to a mountain and come back as the Avatar? Does the word “growth” to you restricted in one way? Were you referring to her height?
- Ah, yes. Creating a separate account is indeed her plan, and she wants to fill it with the earnings she gets from being a duchess... But you want her to sell her nonexistent jewelleries?
GAMORA, WHERE?! GAMORA, WHO?! GAMORA, WHY?! Did you read the webtoon? DID YOU READ THE WEBTOON? OR HAS YOUR NARROW-MINDEDNESS AFFECTED YOUR EYESIGHT AND MEMORY? Reina has no single fucking dowry when she arrived at the duchy, I've mentioned this a dozen of times, she had no fucking jewelleries at the beginning, only a few simple ragged dresses. Even when she fired the pathetic servants im her second life. She only got them in after she started doing her job as the Duchess. “WhY dId'nT sHe SeLl tHeM?” I mean, idk. Common sense? Something you obviously lack? If she can earn more money than selling the few jewels she recently acquired, why not just bear things for a while and keep earning. I mean, a logical person would do that. Idk you.
“Fairies have influence and power over people,” No fairies for you. Nope, nope. I really hope you don't get any fairies because you're planning on dictating and extorting them. Reina thinks of them as her friend and a guide, not some goddamn weapon she can show to intimidate others. She asks for their help, not command them.
“bad writing” is a description I would never accept from a reader who berated almost the entirety of this book by only reading 24 out of (unknown) chapters.
Because Reina decides to perform things cautiously and carefully, and not straight-on impulsive, she's already a dumb and useless character?... Then the Cautious Hero, Seiya, is also one too? Even Rimuru is cautious to some point, but the difference is that they're really OP than Reina in her current state, so they'll be able to handle everything if things suddenly went the wrong direction.
“Nothing you can't do if you try”— Ok, Reina. Forfeit every schemes and listen. You recently got back, so you're currently pregnant. You met your spirit already, yes? Ok. Do you have any necklaces there? Bracelets? Earrings? Brooches? KEYCHAINS? No? Just a few dresses? A shawl? A coat with a hole on its sleeves? ...oh. Ok, we're gonna try to get out of here and sell them. If not, let's display your fairy and use your title, even if you're not yet widely known all throughout the dukedom. Don't worry, we'll be safe. We have your freshly acquired fairy with us. They can stone us to death, but the fairy's water splash will surely protect us. Oh keep in mind, when you use too much power, your head will ache really bad. And you're currently carrying Elle, so it's gonna be bad for him. Your spirit told me. So, use it often because there are many people who will stone us to death.
- HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES MUST I REPEAT that she can't do the things you want her to do because she's bounded by laws and morals, even if she have those water splashes. AND HER FATHER IS A SHITTY BAG. Not because she's a "useless or dumb" character. Was it her fault that the laws in the medieval era doesn't equally support both men and women? Was it her fault that they don't favour the powerless nobles? Was it mine? If it is, then should I apologize...?
People, be it now or before, side with those with power and title, not just anyone with a title. I mean, why do you think people rebel or conquer even if they know that they will fight with someone at the top of the hierarchy? For more power, resources, their own desires, and morals. For now, Reina only have the two latter, and that is not someone you can just give yourself to. Especially not ambitious men.
- It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a dumbass. I never said that a police will go and drag her back, rather it was the CERTAIN TRADITION OR LAW IN THAT SPECIFIC ERA. Either get demoted to a commoner or go back to your familial estate. THAT'S WHY SHE'S WORKING HARD, the thing you can't understand why she needs to do. So if she did divorce her husband, EVEN IF SHE GETS DEMOTED TO A FUCKING COMMONER, SHE HAVE MONEY. READ SOMETHING ABOUT NOBILITIES!
SHE'S NOT ALONE AS SHE WAS?! Of course, who does she have when she leaves the Duke now? If permitted, she can leave with Elle, a baby, the spirits whose magic she can't fully control yet. And the kid she saved from the fire. With them, she could probably face the entire county of her father, could she? I mean, lots of people with swords and spears and bows. She can take them out. Her brother supports her? Ok, sure. Let's add him. And let's just say that he'll just abandon every sacrifice he made to get to where he is, all for the sister he decided to neglect before. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE, SIS! (3)
"It does not up to them, a title is still a title she got by birth"? (ngl your grammar is terrible) Where the fuck did you even get this information? This doesn't apply to the nobilities, rather it applies to the royalties recognized by the King/Emperor. We're talking about NOBLES here! Any Head of any high-ranking NOBLE house can BANISH or CAST OUT those WHO are UNDER them, even their children and their wife. Unless any of the imperial/royal family is connected to them, no one can interfere. NO ONE. The first child, mostly son, of the Head is the only one among all his siblings who already have a title and it's called Heir Apparent. The remaining will just remain as the Head's sons/daughters and addressed as Lord/Lady. ALSO, why do you think that there are children in the medieval era called BASTARDS? Those children are the ones the Head accidentally created because they got horny for other women, and they can later decide if they will give them a job inside their territory, or assign them as the heir. Not the King/Emperor, UNLESS those “bastards” are personally recognized by him, he will personally award them whatever he deemed suitable. Tsk. I told you to read some shit about nobilities, I guess you didn't. I mean, you're kinda a dumbass. So, my question: DO YOU FUCKING THINK THAT A KING, WHO CURRENTLY HAVE NO IDEA WHO REINA IS, WILL GIVE A FLYING FUCK IF THE COUNT DECIDED TO CAST HER OUT? Think. That .05% of capacity of your brain that you can utilize, push it to its limit.
- A deal is an agreement with two or more parties to gain mutual advantage. Given the demands you listed, do you think that thought would've even crossed Reina's mind? Do you think that the Duke will agree to that when he clearly wishes to rectify his mistakes? That agreement could've lead them to a more estranged relationship than what they have right now. And by living in another house, it can show that her authority as a duchess is nothing but just a title plastered next to her name. Her, staying in the main house, solidifies her position and authority. But you didn't even think of that, haven't you?
- Lol, I was replying to this, dumbass: "why give her a title she can't use against anyone?!" "has for her power - she literally can KILL people. you do know that right? the fact she does not do that does not mean she can't. if she wanted something from her father, she can get it now if she really wanted too." I was simply explaining to you that even when she was a powerless noblewomen before, recently she has been acting as a proper duchess, and uses her title whenever deemed necessary. An example is when she fired the servants. But you couldn't see it. That's why I SARCASTICALLY asked if you want her to ransack some town.
- "She controls it perfectly just after the fire event." Oh, yes, that one moment where she asks the spirit to show like 5 second-vision of the past. Really perfect. One example, but hey. Perfect. Boil three soft-boiled egg successively, alas, you're a masterchef! Move, Gordon.
- "why should she get arrested?! for protecting herself?!! and her brother supports her! if she can fire the people that abuse her as she did, she can protect herself against the attack of her father and no one will say a thing, cause they know she is right!" BECAUSE YOU SAID THAT SHE CAN GO TO HER FATHER'S HOUSE AND CHOOSE TO THREATEN IF HE DENIED TO GIVE HER SOME MONEY? HEL—FUCKING—LO? You even think that with her power, she can just go shoot a water gun at them and come back unscathed.
You think that the count will not take that opportunity to arrest her? AND who fucking knows and cares that she's right? HER FATHER HAS MORE SUPPORT IN THE SOCIETY SINCE REINA IS JUST GETTING INTRODUCED. Her entire support is one ducal family, ONE! And you're literally saying that she can just STORM in their county if she wants to? Let me ask again, did you really read the story? If you did, you sure you comprehended it?
- "right back at you “Stop it, get some help.” if you have no better argument than calling me names and say that I ignored while you are I ignored since you miss the point.
the point is to show her character growth by herself! that is the point that this story failed. and there is nothing wrong in admitting that."
Frankly, my rudeness can get more severe than this. But I tried to be professional to you, I tried to explain it as kind-of-politely as I can. I have so many replies to you, but you ignored and imposed your views on me, and the others. Therefore, I became ruder and ruder, and I will not apologize for that. Because I hate repeating myself so many times and you still couldn't see what everyone in this comment section was trying to say to you. (As they say, it is harder to argue with a fool) But with all my sarcasm and name-calling—though not justifiable, is mostly due to my frustration caused by your stubbornness—I have given you so many logical points, I tried to explain and simplify them but you ignored them because you are so focused on making everyone see things in your own very perspective. I provided you context that wasn't just my own views, rather what was the commonly perceived by the majority of the readers. So, with everyone in this comment section that disagreed with you including me, who is the one I'm replying to who MISSED the other person's point?
Compare 1st-life Reina to 2nd-life Reina. You can't see any difference? Even if it's minor, it is still growth. And in 24 chapters, I'm so damn proud of it. She was a damaged person, came back to life and hasn't fully healed herself mentally, decided to fight for the sake of her son... And somehow the story failed to show that to you?...again, is the story finished and we don't know about it? Are you a psychic? Did you see how it ended? So, no. I'm not admitting anything, there's nothing to admit here. I will CRITIC a “finished” product, not CASTIGATE an “ongoing” one. I'm not like you.
I could've talked to you in a professional way if you've actually tried to comprehend what I've been trying to say. Like respectfully sharing your own views, not FORCING them to everyone in the comments here. I mean just look at the second point, about the ABANDONED EMPRESS. That bit made me laugh so loud that I threw away my maturity and replied.
You thought you did something there, didn't you? Yie~
You'll probably do something again, because of that unceasing need to be correct. I hope you're not yet an adult. Because your mindset is toxic—and we already have so much of that in the world—and there's still chance for help. So, yay.
Hoped you enjoyed my 3-part-essay of why your perspective is irrelevant. I rambled quite a lot, so unprofessional of me.
This will really be my last time replying to you. Acting immature and childish once in a while is good for me. (But, it did feel like talking to a child who thinks the moon is following them wherever they go and they just wanna believe that and nothing else.)
If you decide to reply again, it proves the fact that you have this really uncontrollable need to be correct, and winner of every argument; you're a narrow-minded narcissist, or maybe just either one of them. This is not name-calling, but an assessment based on proven psychological facts—which you also need some knowledge about.
Don't victim-blame, ever. You have no idea what they went through before and during the trauma, and what they are currently going through after the trauma.

So like, just my perspective, when he thought of that last bit... What he's doing right now is somehow for the sake of his own conscience...? I feel as if he's doing this for selfish reasons...? Like, he just wants to unburden himself of the guilt he felt from failing to be a (good) father to Elle, and a (good) husband to Reina, also failing to properly protect them, care for them, love them, and basically what every normal person naturally do for his/her family. Also when he realized her spirit couldn't pass on peacefully, also because of him ngl.
(I'm sorry, but it's just the way I see. However, I could be wrong or overthinking things, or just being cynical, or it could be the way the translators phrased it.)
Regardless! I believe that he should just focus on the wellbeing of his family, and make sure that neither the duchess and her child gets harmed again. Make sure that Reina's garbage of an f-word gets what he deserved.
Damn, this man can’t get credit for trying to make shit right. Everything this dude do is so wrong for y’all wtf. This man tried helping her at the beginning but didn’t because of the other father and he regretted his decision that he prayed and wished so hard that he could make things right for her, he allowing her to do what she wants. He ain’t doing shit for him he doing it for her and to make things right for her, y’all think shit too hard when it comes to what men’s are doing.
I think he lowkey liked her atleast, just that he was forced by the father of Reina to ignore her and stuff, hence him being ignorant and cancelling out his feelings. I would LOVE to believe that he sincerely wants to change the outcome.
Tho that does not mean his actions were justifiable. He did smth wrong and now he can atone and change the outcome.
...okay.
First, you might've misunderstood me? I never said that anything he recently did is wrong (although except for his decisions and actions in the past life.) I mean, It was obvious that he really wants to care for her on their first life. I saw that, I understood that. (We've been reading his side for quite a few chapters now, haven't we?) You said so yourself, he didn't do anything because of trashy father. He didn't have the courage to fight for her, or stand up to her—even the brains, tbh. Do you really think that (pre-time-regress) Reina, if logical and strong as she is now, would stay with him knowing that even though he actually cared for her and her son, he still really didn't do anything to fight for them? He lacked the courage, the balls. He assured himself that by not doing anything, not interfering, and acting as if he's heartless, was the biggest help he could offer. Hence why his son got mad at him, hence why he was locked up with Reina's ghost, hence the regrets, hence the guilt, hence why he desperately wished he could do it all again.
Second, I did mention that I could be overthinking or just plain cynical, because when he thought what he should do when he realized that Reina changed, or the possibility if she also regressed, gave me a possible thought that could've been running to his head. If Reina have memories of him in their past life, she'll probably want to take her child and leave him (which is what Reina initially planned), and if they did, how is he able to rectify his mistakes. How will he get rid of the guilt in his heart? How will he free himself from his regrets?
I never said everything he did is wrong, I actually loved the moment when he asked Reina to show off her powers. Proud Mama moment for me. But rather, I am doubtful on the thoughts behind his actions because of that last line. But it was merely an assumption, a possibility. An opinion.
And lastly, it doesn't have anything to do with him being a ‘man’. I don't know just how did that suddenly come into this. For one, an overthinker like me, overthinks everyone's action towards me, every single one. I don't discriminate. (▰˘◡˘▰)
Welp, sorry for the long post.
Yes. I did see that. But as I've said, he did lack the courage to fight for her and stand up for her. I also would love to believe that his current actions right now is indeed selfless and for the better. But the last thought just threw me off a bit and activated the cynical in me.
Correct, correct. Also, I did mention that whatever his reasons are, the only way he could get Reina's forgiveness is to just focus on their family and get the courage he lacked before to keep them safe. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ And whatever he plans to do, I don't mind lending him
a hand in peeling Reina's father from head to toe.
Welp, you're generalizing. As a matter of fact, I remember every chapter, I remember everything he did for her and Reina found weird for him to do. (AND THAT GODDAMN PART WHEN HE ADORABLY BLUSHED) That's why I assumed before the possibility that he could've gone back in time too. But some spoilers I read before that it was her son. Now thanks to the previous chapters, I was right.
Ohhhh. I wasn't doubtful on the stuff he did on the past, but knew it was wrong and he could've done differently. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍ Buttttt, they're all in the past now, and we're on the second life. Instead, WHAT I am kind of doubtful if what he's doing right now, in the current life, is if he simply and really wants Reina and Elle to be safe and happy, or he's doing it because of his guilt. That's all.
And honestly, the only way to answer that question is to see more of his perspective and his future actions, and decisions. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
Despite that Diedie is a literal killer I just wanna say that he can also be a cinnamon roll, but with a lil drizzle of hot sauce.
We're finally given a peek on his background—did you see how beaten up that 'lil baby was!?– and it's obvious that several social factors are the one that affected him so much to be a killer. His parents could be the root of it, if not the environment he grew up in. (︶︿︶)
