Abel is the yandere of a better tomorrow! When there’s a bad boy/jealous/yandere character in a comic, they usually come off as super hot, or super toxic and gross. Because Abel is capable of character development and growth, and paired with an MC that’s not a total doormat, the leads in this comic have such a better dynamic than like the leads in *cough* The Villian’s Savior *cough*

Honestly I think this is better than bj Alex because it isn’t trying to excuse toxic behavior. When romance stories get abusive but treat it like “this is a normal relationship this is fine” is when it’s a problem. Here, other characters are concerned, the reader is concerned, and it’s played as creepy/mysterious/kinky. It’s like having two unreliable narrators. What’s they’re baggage? Why are they acting like this? What will they do next? Your also invested in the outcome —> will they sort out their shit and eventually achieve happiness? What would that happiness even look like? Or is this gonna be a beautiful dumpsterfire that burns everyone that comes into contact with them? Sooooooooooooo goood, I’m 100% invested in the plot.
