Esp since the poor/always in need of help herbivore is the uke. Also what the fuck kind of a herbivore would open a shop that sells the cooked dead bodies of their own kind?
And why does ch2 begin so abruptly? What led to those 2 meeting as adults?? Why is the uke always kidnapped jut to be raped???? Why not just ask for ransom like a normal kidnapper???
A complete and utter waste of such pretty art and typesetting.
i have several issues with it. 1- the backgrounds/jobs of both the dudes, esp the yakuza angle, were unnecessarily long. 2- that woman ririko is intensely unlikeable. 3- there's no way a child of megu's age has that kind of vocabulary and maturity 4- the no DNA test rule was stupid AF. just a stupid plot armour. 5- the romance was too sudden. so someone tells you they have a crush on you and you suddenly become bisexual???
So that it helped me decide very quickly what to rate this garbage manga
the leap from idol to prostitute was sudden and really had no logic behind it, but i was all for it bc this was the 1st time i'd come across a seme secure enough to be ok with someone he likes, prostituting himself out. that went down the drain, of course. and the later chapters sort of lost steam. there are certain pages in there that make no sense. im guessing their sequence is wrong, but even with the correct sequencing, they don't make much sense (when the uke is chatting w the coworker of the seme)
the rape was unnecessary and i hate how there were ZERO consequences for the rapist
so when that white fox met the uke, it is understood he raped him and that became a scandal in the school. went downhill for me from there bc it followed the typical plot line of rape being used as a trauma for the uke, when it adds nothing to the plotline 99% of the time. and also the seme raped him again, which is wow. cant believe the idiots who rated this a 9
and interesting how it's always the uke aka the one with the "woman's" role who's subjected to rape
it feels like 3-4 short stories of the same characters within the same time period, all smushed into one. i also did not get why the cam-girl story was introduced. it served no purpose whatsoever.
knowing full well he sleeps w committed men just to satisfy his ego????? idc about his past trauma - nothing justifies going out of your way to become the other person
but why does the uke have to always fall in love with someone who sexually assaults or abuses him? that's beyond disgusting
flat characters, esp the female mc. she has no personality except overreacting in every situation. she has 3 fixed reactions - 1. eyes as big as saucers and no expression on her face (her default mode), 2. eyes close with sweat on her face bc she's anxious (and she's anxious a LOT) 3. scared out of her wits bc something something "My BL obsession got found out"
2/5
the manga is essentially about 2 dudes killing other human beings and falling in love w one another in the process. That's it. there is no "deep meaning" in the manga and the many philosophical dialogues were completely unnecessary. they made it quite a chore to finish this manga. the length of the chapters didn't help either. 100 pages for one chapter? that's like 4 regular BL chapters.
hard pass
Ch1 already has the seme confessing his love and the uke fucking him, while in ch3 the uke has broken up with him and has dubcon sex w his colleague. There was no build-up, no nothing. Things happened because they were *supposed* to happen and the story felt quite mechanical, frankly. I dropped it by the 4th chapter.
towards the uke to have sex. then the pedo entered and he walked away scot free. bravo. A+ content.
working together and living together, aka spending ALL your time with your partner, is a recipe for disaster
aggressive seme who is the protector and does what he wants, but talks about it only AFTER he's done it, and a doormat uke whose only job is to be the semes sex object + "mother" to the kids
