Rape trope is popular in yaoi to say the least. 99% of the time, the rapist is the seme, the fact has been discussed countless time, I am so sick of this trope already. I want to talk about the other 1% when uke is assaulted by someone else other than the seme, like in this yaoi. And the seme is the one who help uke. Now this trope is much more logic and realistic. But even so, the MC's reaction to the crime still leaves a lot to desire.
Perhaps because sexual assault and mental issues is still taboo topics in Asian country (mine included)? MCs seems never aware of things to do in case they are assaulted. Things like reporting to police, going to hospitals, requesting rape kit, pressing charge, and after that, what about seeing a therapist, going to counseling, support group. Instead, their solution and coping mechanism is rather unhealthy IMO
I have read lots of Western gay romance novel, their way of handling rape trope is much better. I wish in the future there will be yaoi with rape trope that is more realistic and healthy.

the intention of yaoi is not to give you a life lesson, more like short romance stories, all that isn’t really needed. that or something to get you off idk. i think it depends on the genre if it’s slice of life and not a short story i could see the after affect of rape tropes, but that kinda story is rare. Same with hentai they were made for the male/female fantasy idk no ones gonna go to a hentai watch a female get raped just for her to go to a therapist, sadly it’s gross but that’s just how i kinda see it.

The main reason to the rape trope or people who use lame excuses like "iS jUsT fIcTiOn" is because people are disgusting and stupid, they prioritize their "entrainment" to everything else, they don't care as long as they have their entertainment, totally brushing aside how hurtful this can be neither do care about how wrong and nocive it is, especially to rape victims, young pleolple and the LGBT+ community that their characters represent.
I can't say how many times I've received hate from readers when I point this topic.
The saddest part is that this one is actually ok, is not like most yaoi where someone (mostly the uke) gets raped and then they fall in love with their rapist with the "bUt Is OuT oF lOvE" bullshit, is just a poor resource to have sex (is actually not sex but rape) scenes right away.

People's minds change. Even tho they're fine without a baby, such a thought is possible and even with baby fever, they may also be fine with a baby coming theur way if it does. I think they're the type of couple that would be fine and glad to have a baby if it somehow happened (like woop de doo), but they are also fine without that hapoening. Exactly! an amazing point and i do agree that there’s no need to have a gain in a specific form of a baby. Their relationship becoming stronger in itself is great. And i do agree and wish too that fargo won’t change how the story will flow because of fan pressure (but i do think she won’t). She has expressed her frustrations well on how people say disrespectful words just because they didn’t what they want from her story, but hey, she has all the rights to write what she wants and this is a good show of ‘reality’ as a part of of her omegaverse. I’m excited to see how she’ll culminate their part of the stort!
Well I doubt this author would do anything like that just to please fans but I'm just a bit sad life has to punch them like that y'know. Also a few things on twitter I saw is almost suspicious bc it seemed like the whole potential relationship between them and the so far imagined baby would be and such and frankly if I was an author I don't think I'd bother with it that far if the baby wasn't going to be legit but rlly who knows. The author did say they wanted it strictly traditional omegaverse rules way back. All in all my point is this couple would be fine and happy either way. That's something I do like about them bc there are definitely couples out there who wanted no children yet ended up with one or smthn so I'm just good knowing they're the type who would be fine with it for sure if anything of the sort did happen (even without birth or whatever). I feel like anyone who is able to concieve should be able to live with the potential consequences of something if they choose to act on something, so I just love that they have been able to face this kind of thing. Yh in the end it's still developmental gain for them as a couple, I just wish it didn't have to be so bad but y'know, life can be a bitch anyway so at least the story likes it's dark parts in that regard.

Why??? in the first chapter, the art is great, like traditional manga. Im totally hooked. Later chapters turned out to be webcomic. Meh not so great.
Its clearly the same art, however the website that sells these stories started cutting all their BL's into a webtoon style probably cause its trendy? The originals are all still normal manga format but they're cut and placed different now. The art is the same lol (￣∇￣")
