Turns out the hyung is actually a parent figure to the mc. They first met when they were kids because mc is getting picked on by older kids so he bumped onto the kids using his bike. As a thank you the mc bought him food but turns out the money used was not his but the older kids. So after eating they went to find the kids and said sorry. Even the hyung said sorry (bowing respectfully) and paid half the money. There was actually a chapter where the mc made 2 blunders. They were out together (mc, ml, hyung and friends) basically he accidentally thrashed 2 meals and was so sorry and teary eyed but the people was so angry so the hyung came to help and apologize on his behalf and bought a replacement for the meals. So far i dint think the hyung is bad. There was a rumor that he got expelled for beating half of his class but i think that’s not real from his demeanor and all of being respectful. The reason why people were believing it was because the mc hang out with the hyung together with his friends and they looked like a biker gang but theyre actually normal people who only goes around using bikes wearing dark clothing. Oh plus, the hyung actually helped the mc and ml. He said he was dating the mc over a phone call, this was actually several chapters after he found out that mc and ml is engaged. I think from the lie, the ml became more clear of his feelings especially after mc called his father telling him to revoke the engagement since he has a boyfriend (ml dodnt believe tgey were together since they already told him theyre engaged and there was no negative reaction from the hyung). Bottomline is the hyung is a good person who takes care of mc like a parent

I find this story very compelling especially with the new chapter. What I immediately noticed is that somehow there is an establishment of connection between us readers and the mc. The slow world-building somehow connects us with the fl. I like the fact that the fl isn’t op at all. She’s not the fl who adapts immediately, quicly knows the what, who, and when, of the place, and easily predict the future so she can keep prepare a counter attack. Basically she’s clueless and the way they portray that in the story give the idea that the people around her gives off a “we’re just your ordinary noble daughters” feeling even though there’s actually a subtle tension in the air. Her cluelessness is actually reflected in our uncertainty of future events.

Sorry Casis but the tension between Roxanna and Dion is much more entertaining

My reply didn’t register Anyways, i legit said the tension between them is far more entertaining than roxanna and casis’ interaction. I didnt say sexual or romantic tension. Dion and rox’s interaction gives more intense and suspenseful vibes. Like will dion hurt her or will roxanna kill him first? I dont know. As a reader, their interactions are hard to predict making them far interesting than rox and casis’ interaction. Everything isn’t romance smh

he/she didn't ship them (i think) they just said that its more entertaining... even if they're brother and sister, their interactions could be more interesting than the ml and fl.. even if dion killed her brother, they didn't say anything romantic about roxanna and dion. its just that, they're entertaining.
No hate to helena but why is she called the prettiest in the empire when mc is existing? Helena’s face is so basic (?) and mc’s face is more enticing plus the confidence she exudes and the dignified appearance is top notch
Helena is the prettiest in the empire right? Or is it from another novel?
She has the heroine halo.
