The FL is so shallow and disrespectful towards Osoek, treating him like an object based on his appearance. Ignoring him and lying about having lunch just because he cut his hair is ridiculous. If someone's opinion of you changes with your looks, it's time to reconsider priorities. Ignoring him over a haircut is just plain disrespectful. Like she herself said that she only liked him bc of his hair, not personality wise. The fact that she changes her whole attitude after the haircut just show how shallow she is.
She literally admitted that she only liked him because of his hair. When her friend asked, 'Sol, were you just in love with his hair?' she replied, 'I guess?' She then went along with everything else solely because of his hair. Please don’t twist her words, she genuinely meant it.
If she 'literally can’t see people’s faces' without long hair, then how did she even become friends with someone who has short hair? That logic doesn’t hold up. Clearly, she can look beyond hair length when she wants to. So if her feelings for him faded just because of a haircut, it only shows how shallow her interest was. She wasn’t drawn to him as a person, only the look he had, which shows a lack of genuine connection or depth in her attraction.
Let me emphasize this:
Her friend said, "For the past six months, you’ve been forcing yourself to eat intestines just so you could eat with Okseok! You even learned programming to help with his homework, crashed at my place every night because he lives nearby, and signed up for the same class this semester, all of this, just because of his hair length?!"
And she replied, "Yeah! Pretty much."
This conversation alone makes it crystal clear: every effort she made, changing her habits, learning new skills, going out of her way was all because of something as superficial as his hair length. She wasn’t interested in who he actually is as a person, just in maintaining an image she liked.
Her actions were calculated and required significant effort, yet her quick loss of interest after his haircut shows she wasn’t truly invested in him as a person, only in a surface-level attraction. This lack of emotional depth or self-awareness is evident in her almost dismissive response, suggesting she might not fully grasp how shallow her motivations appear to others. Additionally, her friend was surprise showing how misleading her actions were, as they likely believed her efforts reflected genuine interest rather than a fleeting attraction.
Probably won't read all this but please do not make her look better when she really not.
God this shit suck. The mc is so naive and foolishly in love, and the male lead is even worse. The author keeps trying to justify his behavior because of his tragic past, but it feels so forced. Why try to redeem him when they’ve already made him such a terrible person? It’s frustrating to watch them twist the narrative to make him look good when he clearly isn’t. Like at this point do korean ppl just love romantically abusive relationship
This shit got me crying. Usually, in these types of stories where the main character gets reincarnated into the body of a child in an abusive environment, they feel sad about the original soul for a moment but then move on. But here, the mc constantly thinks about Yana and the life she must have had. I started bawling. She genuinely acknowledges the original soul, wondering where Yana went and how her life might have been. Despite her own quest for revenge, she thinks of Yana first.

Bruh, at this rate, nobody’s making it out alive. It’s so obvious they need everyone’s tape to escape, but these idiots can’t stop turning on each other. If they keep killing and refusing to trust one another, they honestly deserve to stay stuck in this cycle.
