I can’t help but dislike the ‘main character.’ Because of the way the first chapter was set up, I prefer the sword hero as our main character instead of the spear hero. Since they set up the story for us to empathize with the heroes, the main character just feels like a pain in the ass for killing them
The sudden jump from the main character and his brother befriending each other is so weird. There was little to no build up the author just made the brother make up with Niro for the sake of the plot since the rivalry was going nowhere and dragging
Nothing is really wrong with it. It was either he killed him or they team up. Teaming up seemed to fit better since the Kvan is needed in the plot because of his powers

If anyone is frustrated with this story go read FFF Class Trashero. It’s like watching Niro actually grow balls and getting fed up with the shitty writing and characters.
