I think it's intentional. This is a swap of the normal POV, or what we've had - how they perceive themselves and each other are different from each other. Seyeong probably sees himself as not as pretty as he is.

Seems like the art style and story was written by an amateur. Really great premise some parts are just confusing. And the art at the start seems like it needs work? Pretty characters! But I can't really overlook the art
EDIT: I have read a lot of manhwas esp bl so far and I honestly dont think this is the best art ive seen in korean bl? The lines, the position, the bodies and face is very awkward and places that lack detail. I personally think you will see the artist improve this though! In a lot of popular bls you have seen lower quality webtoons becoming a lot better visually! I think regard of art as long as the story is ok then no one would care as much. In my personal opinion i dont think the story is amazing. Its a standard story that doesn't have convincing details thats make me hooked in the story. Which i needs since ive read a lot so far especially with similar plots.

The writing is like what you would read on wattpad. Its not bad but not amazing. I like the plot premise that why i started to read it. However, the story keeps referring to the mc that they were the worst in high school yet give no info about it. Worse how? Like a bad kid or just had a hard time? He skipped school without anyone noticing? He ran 4 miles?, im not sure why male lead is wearing his school uniform after his grandmas funeral???The male lead was about to jump from a roof top that wouldn't really kill him but he would know that would cost him hospital fees (though im forgiving of this plot part), mc reveals a lot about the mls grandma who ml is close to... his excuse does not make sense as ml would have heard of his existence at least. He mentions her like theyre are REALLY close. He could have said he met her briefly and asked him to take care of him in school and let the ball start rolling in building a relationship. The story doesn't explicitly say if he became an extra character in the book or himself. You would assume its a new novel world since the character hes supposed to help is in it but he goes back in time where his fave is there and mcs own family from that time? I don't understand how they both exist together? in the This is only in the first few chapters and its a standard story. It didn't hook me rather i think its a story for those who are younger or new to these stories. Theres a lot of great writing out there, especially art and i cant help and compare that this is not as good as what ive read before.

if you found this story confusing i got some bad news for you.....
The art style looks awkward. Like they need more experience. I feel like down the line the artist art style would look so much better. Theres some movements of the characters and expressions look awkward and doesn't match the setting. At first the art looks awesome but i keep reading the chapters and i started to notice. I never say art style needs improvement but I couldn't help but notice in this. I had to drop for now. The story also needs more improvement... theres points where it doesn't make sense

yknow what, valid points but ima say ur taking it too serious i believe it goes like; worst as in never studying and only engaging in fights, ml caught on the mc's lies and never believed it anyways, he became a side character but the setting was already in their past hs so ig author just added him with his own background (?) also the story is ongoing and theres a lot to reveal so no need to be so harsh
Ah, I already have a theory on why the mc's fam would be in the same universe, basically I think since the author of the novel lives(?) In that area he based the story's setting in the same area where he lives, normally when people go inside a story the world doesn't necessarily revolve around the mc's it just let's unimportant characters be like in the real world where they go about their own business. Since the areas are the same the only thing that would change is the appearance of the novels characters, this or there's a huge plot twist

tbh i think a lot of the "plotholes" will be covered later. like when you mentioned how it didn't make sense for mc to know the grandma, the blondie actually brought it up. (spoiler) he straight up said later into the story after getting to know mc, "you don't know my grandma, do you." i also think this type of story is meant to summarize a lot of the plot points/characteristics in the beginning, and then slowly fill in the details. i actually think mc is meant to be more mysterious and as we read on, we learn more about him. i also think there's probably a spoiler as to why mc suddenly wakes up in this world, as it becomes clearly a mystery about how he came here and who his friend even was who introduced him to this story. but then again, idk since all ik about it so far is what's been published here.
I honestly think he's lonely. The only one thats constant is jaekyung so he feels more love towards him. Even if jk has feelings it does not excuse everything he has done. With his shoulder you can tell he will take it out on him. This is plain domestic abusive/power relationship.
