Being with him made jh stop being violent towards others and i think thats why hajins been pretending to be with him plus hes scared. He never even told him hes a vampire so obviously there isn't any trust. He obviously trying to stop dk from being hurt especially since he was bullied and maybe because of the whole thing of him being a human. I think they can get through it as dk being as someone who is healthy and reliable so hajin can have the courage to stand up to him. Its complicated but thats how these relationships are
