If you start thinking for a second that this is actually how these kinds of relationships work, then I implore you to do a little research to get the facts for yourself. It can be a lovely world for both partners if done correctly. Dont let something like this make such things a turn off.
This manga left many many questions unanswered and several plot lines just laying dead in the dirt. In the end Yuju died... somehow? Giju also died.....somehow, and that young-do was eventually killed by that assassin guy we met earlier on just like the weird 3rd person narrator mentioned early on. Both of Giju's step parents are dead, and Young-do's best friend/first love had him killed as a cover up. This story had so much potential and I'm guessing rushed production or the threat of cancellation just cut off the head of this project very early on. Pretty sad to see it go out like that.
Yuji was murdered by her father. Giju jumped off a bridge and young do took the fall for all the shipping containers going missing.
