Cool, I just read this last night and look there is a new chapter!
I really want to see Utou happy, he deserves it. I did not care who it was as long as he gets his happy. In regards to Shiratori, I just hoped we get a better explanation for his dislike of Utou. I like Shiratori in the beginning but they was he has treated Sasaba sucks. I was expecting more drama after Sasaba found out that Shiratori was just using him to get at Utou. Rushing off to Utou feels a bit rushed in my opinion.

Well, I know this is a petty little rant...just found this on Tapas under a different title (Breathless) but why do some translators feel they have to change the names into English? And not just English, but stupid unimaginative names at that. Bin He is now "River," Hai is now "Sea" and Hai's former girlfriend is "Lake". Common your readership is not dumb, so please don't treat us like that. I'd like to support the author but I will continue to read this translation just for this reason. Sorry, it just bothered me.

Do not be sorry cuz you are right and i like what you said
It is much proficient to have the actual names than coming up with crap
i like the real names batter than 'river, lake, sea!!??' Like wtf am I reading ...
    ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ but still like the manga (▰˘◡˘▰)

Bin he( 滨河)means river in chinese
    Hai( 海)is sea
Maybe translator thought the chinese names were too difficult to pronounce for Englishes audience

I think that we as English speakers should learn to get used to names that are in the original language. I feel that is more respectful to the original material. We've gotten used to Japanese names and Korean, so why not Chinese?

    Omegaversemaniac March 1, 2020 3:25 pm

I prefer the original names too even if it is hard to remember the names at first if a person keeps reading the story I find for myself it doesn't take long for it to be easy to remember. It doesn't matter if the translated version of their names DOES mean that I do prefer the original, although the meaning of their names are interesting and pretty I still prefer the original. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I guess for me it is almost like if someone were to take Junjou Romantica and change the names of the characters to English ones even if those names were the official translation of their names I wouldn't like it. For one thing it kind of takes away from the original concept and uniqueness of the ethnicity of the webtoon/manga artist's origin. Σ(っ°Д °;)っ(⊙…⊙ )

So for me I prefer the original and will ALWAYS stick to it.(▰˘◡˘▰)

    I totally agree with you!!
And I don't know, if I will be in minority here, but I can't stand it even when the original names are changed into more familiar, like John, Chris and so on. Like come on!! It's not impossible to remember Chinese or Korean names! Changing them just feels wrong.

I also prefer the original names because somebody named Lake or River sounds awkward, but I don't really understand why it would be more respectful to the original material. The author wrote those names in a way they would mean something, the readers in the original language keep reading them seeing their meaning. If we translate the conversations but not the names, we are the ones missing on some information that was put there.

Come on Masato, you sort of stick out, do you really think a pair of sunglasses is enough to hid from Asahi?

Absolutely love this story, so much I've read it multiple times. What can I say, I love the story development, the characters and their development. The artwork from the character designs to the action scenes is just perfect. The pacing and the development of their relationship did not feel rushed and it did not drag out. The build up to their first real intimate scenes were perfect and rewarding to me the reader, not rush or forced. This is how you right a Seme!! There way too many toxic semes (and stories) out there. I know I will re read this one again.

Have you ever heard of knocking before opening a door? Dang!

Simon is fishy, and after the comments from his friends about him going after married men, I wonder what will happen after Jordyn's divorce is complete? Will Simon stay or drop Jordyn because he is no longer married. I just see him as playing Jordyn.

Things are about to get messy with Niel's miss understanding plus having just bumped into his old flame. Jensen, I think you're about to get a new rival for Niel's affection.

I absolutely LOVE the artwork, its just stunning. On the other hand the flow of the story feels a little disjointed at times, like they skipped some scenes which would have which makes it "jumpy" and hard to understand. I found this to be the same issue with the authors other work as well. I hope the author can improve their story telling since I feel their artwork is just beautiful in their works I have read.
