’m not that frustrated with the mc either, she’s cautious and she’s from another time, if you expect her to be a « heroine « that’s going to be disappointing, she’s not weak, but she’s not modern either-
I like the perspective and the volume it’s given (her own condition, social status, etc;) it’s not just seen from her, there’s a bit of development on the society in the story
To me it makes her believable as she is
