I was very interested in chapter 12. Glad to understand what was said. JB raised a good point. They could just hire an artist, but Yoon loves the painter's style. I think JB doesn't get it. It's like getting a new artists to do a comic. They might be talented, but it's never the same.
This is weirdly enough a story where the rape scene is necessary and moves the plot forward. The demon world is so twisted and dark. They follow rules that go against all human comprehension. What happened to the MC was part of trying to rid him of his humanity.
He's growing powerful at an incredible rate. You'd think his master would fear that, but he loves seeing how powerful the kid becomes.
That seemed consensual to me, Makoto even asked to be friends with the guy afterward. That demon told Makoto why he was there and how sex would result in him losing his human smell (that would have made him vulnerable to other demons as we saw way earlier).
Makoto understood he needed to rebel against J bc he never said he wanted to be a demon, J was doing it against his wishes and seducing him to go with the flow. J was pleased Makoto kept his own mind but he made a show of punishing him by ripping his head off again..but I think j did it to deaden Makoto's senses enough he didn't go mad from sex with the snake schlong. But I reread this and realized Shady Teacher did not tell the real truth to Yoon.
He told Yoon "I once caught (painter) drawing something bizarre and vulgar for which I scolded him severely". However, in ch 10 he tells (Painter) "To think you who once sold paintings of sodomy..."
So he knew all along that the Painter had been selling erotica under a pseudonym, but left that out with Yoon (which I get). Shady Teacher knew Yoon is a sodomite and the Painter draws Sodomy. Yet he played dumb with Yoon and accepted his offer of help. However, he told the Painter, "I hope you don't still draw that stuff".
Did Yoon make up the Teacher wanting to visit Painter or did he invite him there and only tell the Painter that? It looks more like the Teacher did want to see the Painter and Yoon allowed it because that worked to his favor.
Shady Teacher seems to have a hidden an agenda. If he was hell-bent on the government post he'd be supporting the Painter. He isn't. I think he's after something else.
both have been using the painter, but little master is cruel but at least he's telling the truth about what he wants from the painter and I don't think the teacher is honest enough with the painter. Something is off about him.
