She lives in a rural community, a tight knit at that, where it is very common to know each others business, not saying it's a good thing but you should have the capacity to understand her social background with this people and you can't just easily undone that mentality just because you want them to act that way. So idk why you think that, while it sounds like even if you have parents, they didn't raise you right and didn't focus on your education enough because you are still dumber than a rock.

I’m an agricultural science and technology major thats minoring in ag leadership, business, and communication; I 100% know what I’m talking about when it comes to problems effecting agricultural hubs and small, isolated communities. I talk to people that grew up in places like that ON THE DAILY and once they’re introduced to diverse communities and cultures, their opinions are MORE likely to change to one thats more tolerant and inclusive. It’s harmful to villainize people just because they think differently than you, when it only times a moment for that thought to change
